Ms. Thea Boatswain RD, CPT is a Registered Dietitian and NutritionistOwner | Nutrition DirectorThea Boatswain is the Owner of Elan Nutrition Associates. She started Elan as a fitness service but quickly expanded into nutrition counseling after many of her clients struggled with their eating habits. She obtained her first set of degrees in Agriculture Science from Tennessee State University in ‘09 and ‘11. Then she went to pursue her degrees in Dietetics gain a Bachelors from The University of Alabama in ‘18 and her Masters from Simmons University in ‘21. She also holds a personal training certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. While Thea specializes in sports nutrition in endurance athletes she is well versed in seeing clients that are in need of other nutrition services including pre/postpartum and weight management.
