Dr. Theodore Rowe Ford, MD

Dr. Theodore Ford lacks in bedside manner. He didn't listen to my needs or wants. He completely ignored what medicine I would like to take and walked into the room with an already filled out and signed prescription for me - without any discussion. During the exam he gave me, he put me in more pain than I was already in, and I left crying and clenching onto my fiance. If I could leave a zero and personally revoke his license to practice medicine, I would. He changes everything in your chart so it looks like you've complained about everything when you've simply told him that you don't feel comfortable with a medication/procedure, or that you've already tried it and it didn't work.

Dr Ford is an awful Doctor. He has treated horribly. Made derogatory statements on my medical records that are not true. Now I am trying to find another doctor and all my referrals are being denied. He never talked to me directly. When I came in for my appointments it was with PA yet he was the one to make decisions on how I was to ve treated. He has a terrible bedside manner. When I explained that medication he prescribed for me was making me sick he wrote in my records that I was complaing. When talking to him on the phone he made jokes at my expense. He makes me sick! Should not be in practice!

Dr Ford and his staff are wonderful, friendly and very helpful. Dr Ford has helped manage my pain and migraines for 3 years. Very professional , knowledgeable, and efficient! Would highly recommend Dr. Fprd

I was a patient of Dr. Ford for more than a year.I have experienced chronic pain for many years and have had every injection known to man. He was insisting on giving me injections that had not worked in the past. He wanted to continue a two part injection when the first gave no relief. Be wary of Dr.'s who do these procedures in office as he does.This is how he makes the most profit from your insurance. If you are a current patient of his I strongly advise you to ask for a copy of your medical records now! I had decided to switch pain management Dr's and was horrified by my records. Records were inaccurate from satisfaction of pain relief to him stating I was uninterested in any other means of pain relief besides medications. Comments that I had made regarding injections or anything else they deemed to be unflattering were repeated and documented for every appointment no matter how old the comment was. It almost seemed records are intentionally done in this manor so if you dare switch… to a different Dr. you are made to look unfavorable.I do not recommend Dr. Ford.

Went to Doctor Ford for help , sits there an tells you one thing .Than the next Visit he forgets what he told you the first time.I well not go back to. Doctor that forgets thing or does not know what he is talking about.What. Just wants to give out Pain Meds instead off fixing things

After many specialist and treatments Dr. ford and his staff were the only ones that have gotten it right. After 3 years of disabling pain they have given me my life back. They have stayed on top of my treatment and ongoing management for my condition, and they really took charge when my insurance wanted something different.

Dr. Ford is a pain management doctor and I don't know why he went into this specialization. He has a lack of bedside manner and does not LISTEN to his patients. He uses scare tactics as a way to communicate and monitor his patients. He is unapproachable and his own staff is afraid to talk to him. He is more concern about making money through injections and constantly pushes an implantable device that would cost thousands for the patients to use. He even stated he is working to put food on the table for his family (his wife is a doctor) and is paranoid about prescribing narcotics. He does not belong in this field of medicine. He doesn't even know how to properly give steroid injections. It takes a series of shots for there to be an effect. Instead he chooses to change the location of the shots when one location proved to be beneficial. I have never been treated so poorly. I would not recommend this doctor. Patients in pain need an advocate and someone to listen to them. Not someone who… will make them feel awful about having to take medicine for pain. I am a cancer survivor with degenerative arthritis in my back and chronic pain from surgeries. The last thing I want to take is narcotics. I am also the sole provider for my family working through my chronic pain. If only he listened more to my needs.

Dr. Ford has very skilled hands; after having numerous injections by other practitioners I had much better results and less procedural discomfort compared to others. Explains everything well; is able to discuss difficult topics in straightforward manner. Ancillary staff all very personable and efficient.
