Dr. Theodore Alan Henderson, MD

Dr. Henderson saved my life from  ME/CFS via Long Covid while all the other doctors were wrong (and there were a lot of them...).  For a follow-up to that, even though he is not a gastroenterologist, he figured out my lymphocytic colitis. (The gastro doctors figured out that I had it but not why.). Dr. Henderson figured out why (Bartonella, I had a low-grade bacterial infection from an insect bite years previous, and that had plagued me for years with the colitis. Then treated and cured that also.

Dr Henderson is a fantastic psychiatrist. I've been suicidal for a decade now, having attempted suicide twice. After seeing at least 10 psychiatrists over the years with no meaningful progress, I found Doctor Henderson. He absolutely, absolutely saved me from a third suicide attempt; he literally saved my life. I couldn't recommend him more highly.

I have been taking my son to Dr. Henderson for over 6 years and I will continue to take him there. Our son has been diagnosed with moderate mood disorder and Dr. Henderson has been able to keep it under wrap with his knowledge of my son and what medication is best for him. I can't imagine where we would be without him.

After being diagnosed with complex regional pain syndrome I was profoundly afraid. I was afraid both because of the horrific dimensions of the disease, and the limited options for effective medical treatments. I had met with several doctors, many of whom seemed incapable of coming to a confirmed diagnosis nor offering effective treatment. After a exhaustive search I was very lucky to find Dr. Theodore Henderson MD, PhD, who was able to offer both an accurate diagnosis and a personally customized treatment plan. His work in understanding and treating my disease is completely unparalleled. He was able to use ketamine infusions to improve my moods, substantially more so than any other pharmacological-model presently available. Additionally, he was able to offer an extremely successful experimental treatment of using antiviral medications that suppress the suspected viral cause of the disease. The combination success of the ketamine infusions and the antiviral medications,… successfully suppressed the symptoms of my horrible disease, to a reasonable level; where the pain was then possible to manage and the crushing depressions were dramatically minimized. Dr. Henderson's masterful understanding of psychopharmacology is in a class of its own, and his ability to customize my treatment to suit the dimensions of my disease is unparalleled mastery of medicine. Where other physicians could only shrug and give up, Dr. Henderson quickly utilized all of his extensive diagnostic-resources to give an accurate diagnosis and viable treatment model, that restored the my quality of life, better than I thought was even possible. I often passionately recommend Dr Henderson's practice to anyone I speak to that is living with CRPS. I would highly recommend the ketamine infusion treatment to anyone suffering from serious depression, as it is unquestionably the most effective possible pharmacological method available today. I believe that the antiviral treatment will likely become a front line treatment option for people who are suffering from complex regional pain syndrome, multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, autism, and chronic fatigue syndrome. All of these mysterious diseases are suspected to be of viral origin. The only catch for the ailing patient is that they have to be disciplined in taking their meds for several months and it will take several months of consuming the antiviral meds every single day to see the full benefits emerge. Yet if the patient will do so properly and disciplined fashion, they are likely to see impressive results. Results that are so impressive, so life-changing, that it borders on the miraculous.

Dr. H is one of the most knowledgeable psychiatrists in Denver. We have tried several so we know. He has an incredible understanding of how the brain and human body all work together. He also respects the patients input regarding medications. If you have a problem, save yourself the time and money and go see him first.

Dr. Henderson worked with me daughter monthly for 12 years providing guidance and medication management. She trusted him more than any other doctor she had and it is my belief he is part of the reason she made it into adulthood.

I went to Dr. Henderson for Ketamine infusion therapy for depression. Mine had gotten so bad that I gave up on oral meds and didn't know where to turn. I had read several good research reports on Ketamine therapy so was encouraged when Dr. Henderson's clinic opened. He explained the process clearly, including his belief that Ketamine may repair brain structure, considerably improving the effectiveness of oral meds. Once my CRPS began it took me over a year of searching before I finally found Dr. Henderson's practice and until I did my life was perfectly unmanageable because of the CRPS; I was basically bed-ridden. Dr. Henderson's practice has the ability to use an in-clinic Ketamine infusion to modify depression far better than any other medication available for depression and boy… oh boy can I tell ya, 'cause I've tried them all. Skip the years of poisoning oneself with useless SSRI and SNRI medications that are barely more effective than a placebo. Today my moods are very good and very bright. I've had half a dozen infusions done over the last six months and unquestionably I say improvement after every infusion, even if there was some kind of weird "rebound effect" in the day or two that follow, the days that follow that will feature a self free form the horrible crushing emotional pressure that creates these epic american-size'd depression states. I'm completely thankful to the infinite (that most call "God") that I found Dr. Henderson and his 'Neuroluminance clinic'. I feel that he has helped me be as healthy and (most importantly) as independent as possible which is pretty important for a man not yet thirty years old. My (then undiagnosed) CRPS was driving me to suicide and when I say finding Dr. Henderson's practice saved my lifeâ?¦ I mean it very literally. The doctors in Michigan had long ago abandoned me, labeling me an opioid-addict and assuming that my trips to the pain clinic were really only about that since they're tests were ineffective; they were wrong and almost cost me my life. But Dr. Henderson found the real problem and we addressed it immediately; he did seem genuinely concerned weather I lived or died; which was uncommon treatment from an physician in the state of Michigan altogether as there is a political issue with pain management in that state. Anyone suffering severe chronic pain would be advised to avoid Michigan and Detroit as in that region anyone that NEEDs pain medicine to survive is assumed to just be a garden variety drug addict [I was not]. Dr. Henderson found the [externally, un-falseiyable] evidence of my CRPS in short order and very soon after gave the official diagnosis. I would not only recommend, but implore anyone suffering CRPS or just needing a "brain doctor", to check them out; Dr, Henderson's practice is where to go. I recommend the ketamine infusions for people who tell me they have depression all the time and tell them to get serious and take care of the issue instead of the SSRI and SNRI hamster wheel. if you will actually benefit, from such medicines, Dr. Henderson will know and get your prescriptions correct. I'm sure Dr. Henderson is a human man that make mistakes and everything like everyone else, but as you can see. to me, he's nearly jesus in a lab coat.
