Dr. Theodore X Oconnell, MD

Dr. O'Connell has a tendency to dismiss symptoms of his elderly patients by saying "that's what happens in old age". By dismissing symptoms my father complained about for years he missed the chance to perhaps save my father from a rare form of cancer in his intestines. It wasn't until my father changed doctors that the new doctor immediately ordered tests, found my father had a blocked small intestine which ended up having to be surgically removed. Tests showed that he had stage 3 tumor.

I highly recommend against Dr. O'Connell. His attitude was unprofessional and his knowledge was quite lacking. Despite the Kaiser machine dictating his office's schedule, he was nearly an hour late seeing me and was not the least bit concerned about my schedule. He demonstrated very little interest in my health and well-being. I strongly advise against using him for your primary care.
