Dr. Theodore Joseph Schuerman, MD

I can't believe that I was turned away on Dec 4th. I had a 4p appointment to see Dr. Schuerman. I left my job early at 3:30p coming from Clayton to get to Hanley and Graham road. Mind you it was snowing outside and traffic was a mess. It took me 45 minutes to get to the office. When I get to the office I was told that I had to reschedule my appointment. This is the second time this has happened. I told the lady with locks in her head at the desk that I couldn't reschedule because I arranged to get off work early to come to my appointment and rescheduling wasn't possible. She called someone to tell them what I said. She hung up the phone and told me that I wasn't going to be seen today and I would had to reschedule. I told her that I would like to speak to the doctor (Schuerman). She also seemed to take it personally when I appeared frustrated. I told her that I was not frustrated with her I was not happy with the process. She then told me that he will not come out to talk to me. "Are… you kidding me?!!" There is NO consideration of bad weather and to simply turn a patient away. I am looking for a new primary care physician. I would not recommend this Doctor. The woman at the front desk represent the entire staff of Doctors there so if you are a patient there this could happen to you.

My sister and I accompanied my father to his check up and he took his time with my father. He talked directly to him, not us, but answered questions. He was very respectful of my father's independence.

Dr. Schuerman has been our family Dr. for about the last eight years. We have a strong appreciation for him. He is very thorough, takes time to listen, takes time to explain things and is patient, kind and tolerant. We feel like we're in good hands. We have no complaints, only compliments.

Dr. Theodore Schuerman is an excellent doctor, very personal and concern for your health. Dr. Schuerman has been my doctor for over 30+ years and not one time have I felt uncomfortable during treatments. The most impressive act was when Dr. Schuerman was taking extra care of my father who had a heart disease. He took out time to treat my dad whenever a crisis arise and recommended an excellent heart doctor. Another impressive act was when Dr. Schuerman saved my life. I was having a hard time breathing and coughing constantly, thinking I needed a breathing treatment. Once I arrived to his office, he came in, examine me and gave me a breathing treatment. I was ready to go home and just lay down thinking everything will be alright. Dr. Schuerman came in the room and stated, "I don't feel comfortable sending you home, will you please go to the emergency room." I told him I didn't want to go to the hospital and he literally begged me to go to the emergency room. When I got there,… I found out that I had blood clogs in both lungs. Dr. Schuerman practically save my life. I wouldn't trade Dr. Schuerman, for no other doctor. He's the best in my book.

Dr. Schuerman is a wonderful doctor. He is compassionate and caring. He takes the time to devout his full attention to your concern.
