Dr. Theresa Ann Kurtz, MD

I know this doctor for several years. Dr. Kurtz is a highly accomplished doctor. She is continually studying the latest research. She understands the MCPS system from a student and teacher’s perspective. She prescribes medication only after a careful and responsible diagnosis. She will NEVER over prescribe, and she is earnestly gets to know her patients before diagnosing them. I recommend this psychiatrist for children and adults without reservation.

I owe my son's life to Dr. Kurtz after God. The way she has pulled my son out of severe depression is something I can never forget. She would always answer my questions .

She is so insightful I love her!!

Our daughter went through a serious bout of depression when she was in high school, and Dr. Kurtz was a godsend in helping her and us get through those awful times. She is very professional and caring. My only regret was(is) that she is not part of any health care insurance plan.
