Dr. Theresa Marie Lococo

She is awesome !

Dr. Lococo is an extraordinary physician. She is caring, concerned, kind and awesome with kids. She has given us great medical advice as well. My son LOVES her...we moved to Tempe almost 9 months ago and I can't seem to find another doctor because I think she is so good. Not only does she give excellent medical advice, she establishes trust with her patients...something hard to do with a young child. I highly recommend Dr. Lococo. I also recommend the staff. Leigh Ann has been our medical assistant for over 2 years and she provides excellent service and is so caring. We respect them both as professionals and appreciate their high standards of care.

As first time parents, my wife and I went into the the interview process with a LOT of questions. Most of which Dr. Lococo answered before before we even had to ask. Her friendly demeanor, professionalism, and thorough answers to our questions convince us to chose her. Our daughter is now 7 months old. She hasn't had any significant health issues thus far. Dr. Lococo has done a great job during checkups of preparing us for the next phase of development.

Dr Lococo spends time with her patients to get to know them and understand their problem. She has a very friendly demeanor and is very conversational with her patients which builds their trust (sometime this is tough with children). I highly recommend Dr Lococo.

This doctor completely over-reacted and diagnosed my 3 month old daughter with something she did not have. Instead of starting with the least invasive tests to eliminate what was wrong, she had my daughter pinned down for a catheter (urine sample), blood drawn and a shot of antibiotics. In the end, my daughter had a MILD COLD. On top of that, this doctor repeatedly told me that if my daughter was not treated she would die. We have delayed vaccinations and this was thrown in my face time and time again. She pressured me into reacting and kept telling me my daughter would die if I didn't agree. I was so distraught, I agreed to everything. She was unprofessional and WAY over-reacted. She was not kind and had the worst bedside manner I have ever encountered. The only "symptoms" my daughter had were low fever and cough. While I understand that a young baby is more at risk for various problems, I did not feel it was necessary to constantly repeat that she would die. She will never… see my child(ren) again.
