Dr. Theresa Artz Simmons, DDS

Theresa A. Simmons D.D.S. 
Dr. Theresa Simmons graduated from the University of Memphis in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology.  She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 1989 and received the American Association of Women Dentists Award for outstanding leadership and academic excellence.  She completed a one year General Practice Residency at the University of Tennessee Memorial Hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee in 1990.  She practiced in Knoxville, Tennessee prior to moving here to Fayette County.  Dr. Simmons joined Parkside Dental Practice in January of 2007.  She is a member in good standing of The American Dental Association, The Dental Organization of Conscious Sedation, The Academy of General Dentistry, The Georgia Dental Association, and the Northern District Dental Society.  Dr. Simmons volunteers and served as past Dental Director on the board of the Fayette CARE Clinic, a non-profit medical …and dental clinic serving Fayette County.
