Dr. Theressa James Nowitzky, MD

I have a huge problem with this doctors staff. They were rude and uncaring about my situation and even though I was in bad pain they wouldn't help me. For some reason being an older patient is a problem here. I discussed their office hadn't contacted me about an annual exam and all she could say it is a courtesy. I have no recourse to go to the ER or beg another doctor for an appointment.

I love Dr. Nowitzky! She is very patient and answers all of your questions. She really takes the time to explain in full detail answers and explanations. She makes you feel comfortable the entire time and is very funny! Her staff is very nice and extremely helpful.

I can't say it strongly enough -- I LOVE Dr. Nowitzky. Love her. I saw her throughout 2 pregnancies. She is wonderful -- very relaxed, warm and encouraging. I always feel like I'm visiting with a very dear friend. She always has spent as much time as I needed, and answered any and all questions I had. Plus, she is absolutely hilarious. My husband frequently came with me to visits, and we would always laugh so hard with her! On the flip side, she is also highly skilled. She thinks fast and always has a ready answer. We are moving soon, and I am so sad to think of losing her. I've never felt so confident in a physician before.

She is the best! Her practice is very large & BUSY, but she takes times with each patient, thoroughly covering all aspects of your health (not just GYN) - she found something not related to OB/GYN issues that my other doctors over-looked - & she has since followed the treatment of this issue. She cares about her patients, listens, offers good advice, & follows up. She makes you feel comfortable whether it be talking about personal issues or doing the dreaded female exam (& she's quick & efficent in her skills - which helps minimize the discomfort!) Nursing staff is good, but administration can be lacking: appointments with signifigant advance, and getting in touch with her outside of office visits can be challeging. I've been seeing her for 3 years. Wait times vary from 10 min - 1 hour.

I was very impressed with Dr. Nowitzky, she not only made me feel comfortable at my appointment she also found something that was wrong with me that didnt relate to the Gyne visit, and it is something that my PC has missed over the yrs. Their office is quick to call when there is an issue that needs to be dealt with. I would highly recommend her to anyone, Im sending my daughter to her.
