Dr. Theri Griego Raby, MD

This Doctor is horrible! She is all about the money; rude and unresponsive. Her "zen" like office is far from an organized medical office. I thought I was in the wrong place when I first walked in. My encounter with Dr. Raby was such a bad experience that I stopped seeing Doctors for quite awhile. I checked around and I am far from the only person who had a bad experience. To top it off, I never even got the test results I came to pick up. Quite frankly, I think she is a bit off.

There are so many stories i could tell you about this doctor. But suffice to say, after about 4 years with her, the few times that i have really needed her input or help, she has been unable to be reached and not very communicative, not even through the portal. In theory, she should be the ideal doctor. But in reality, her priority seems to be money and expanding her business, not really helping her patients. Why 4 years? Well because usually i have no problems and she’s a nice enough person to meet with once a year. But have an issue, try and reach her, try and actually talk to her...? have your charge card out and expect no real information nor help.

I must start by saying that Dr. Raby is a very nice person. She is always very pleasant to talk to. However, my issues were with the tratment. Regardless of the reason I came to see her, I left her office confused. She would always tell me to stop eating almost everything ( I am UNDERWEIGHT) and take a bunch of supplements from her store (I was on about 10 supplements at a time). It was becoming too much for me to handle and my issues were not resolved after over a year. Every time she would shift focus during the appointment from my problem to her eating recommendations. She does run some important blood tests annually, which is great though. Additionally, her staff is horrible. Rude and patrionizing. If you call her office with an issue, you will not hear back. I wish her all the best. She is truly a very nice woman and I am sure that she can be helpful to some people with her approach.

At first, I was a big fan. My family went here and I ended up referring several friends to the practice. I started hearing that my friend felt like the were running all these tests without explaining why. Billing insurance? Then she felt like they never remembered who she was and were not focused on finding out what was wrong, like a. Ever ending cycle of appointments with no resolution. Then, I experienced the same thing. Terrible follow up and definitely seems like you are just a number. Ieft Dr. Rabi four messages and an email to try and resolve some of my issues but she was so aloof as to not even future my call. They rely on this patient portal to relay test results instead of making sure there is human interaction and an open dialogue to ensure the best care. The last time I saw Dr. Rabi, which was rushed, she spent half the appointment telling me about how busy and overwhelmed she was. Uh, who is the patient? Nice woman and I am sure very smart but I think they are getting too… big too fast and have lost sight of patient satisfaction and has have terrible communication protocol which is impacting care.

Never mind that walking into the office is like walking into a spa, I find Dr. Raby and her staff to be caring, compassionate and forward thinking. I love the integrated approach and the fact that instead of treating symptoms, the doctors seek out the root causes and treat accordingly.

This practice likes the 'idea' of a new type of medical practice. Doctor has a unique offering, but the business side of the office needs serious work. The attitude is one of superiority, lacking competency and empathy. Advice, be prepared, it will be like dealing with a AT&T or ComEd customer service agent! You are the bad-guy for having called or having needs.

I truly believe that Dr. Raby's approach to patient care is the future. Her focus on your current wellness and your bodies weakness is what will prevent serious disease, along with the opportunity to provide you with a much more healthier lifestyle. I have and will continue to recommend her to my friends and family.Don't miss out on this life giving approach!

Aside from the wait time to see her, she's an excellent physician that I would recommend to anyone. She's a caring individual who will work with you to solve your helath issues.
