Dr. Thomas Michael Ambro, MD

Dr Ambro just wasted weeks of this pregnant woman's time. I am having multiple pregnancy complications including: brain fog, severe back pain, constant nausea, low energy, blackouts, probably UTI. Doctor Ambro rushed my appointment. He was in with me fewer than 5 minutes and that included a less than 60 second ultrasound. The practice refused to let my husband join me either live or via phone so he could ask critical health questions for me. Doctor failed to answer any of my questions which I had to rush to ask as he ran out the door. Doctor failed to prescribe anything to help with any of my symptoms. Staff contaminated my wheelchair pushing it around without washing their hands. For a group so paranoid of catching COVID you'd think they would practice hygiene themselves! Entire practice is a joke but Dr. Ambro is the worst of the bunch. I do not recommend AT ALL.

I love Dr.Ambro! When I was pregnant with my daughter I made an appointment not knowing anything about him and super nervous just because he was a male. I went into it thinking i was probably going to change OB's but he made EVERY visit 100% comfortable. St. cats has you meet all of the others just in case if they deliver but he was my favorite.

Very patient. Great bedside manner. Staff went above and beyond to help.

I agree with the first review. Dr.Ambro is an excellent md, caring, pleasant,knowledgeable. However, one staff member is beyond rude. It's almost a joke to have her greet patients.

The staff is consistently rude and unprofessional. I experience this angst with scheduling appointments and going to them simply because i spend more time with his staff than with him. I am in the process of looking for a different doctor as a result. It's a shame as I feel he is very caring and competent; however, I really don't need the hassle. They cancel appointments then blame you, rude, take it or leave it attitude, not helpful, unprofessional, I can't say enough things about the staff. Each time I think well maybe it will be different, but it isn't. I work hard and have limited time off and schedule appointments accordingly, they should value the fact that I can go elsewhere and will. They need to get better attitudes or other jobs. I will not continue going there.

I have been going to Dr. Ambro for about 14 years. He has performed two surgeries to remove dermoid tumors from my ovaries and a hysterectomy. He is very caring and great bedside manner and always takes the time to explain and answer any questions I have. Overall he's a wonderful doctor to deal with and I would recommend him to my family and friends.
