Dr. Thomas Joseph Amrick, MD

I must say that Dr. Thomas J. Amrick's office lacks professionalism and is not focused on patient care. There's a manager name Carol (I believe is also Dr. Amrick's wife) has an unpleasant attitude. She needs to retire as soon as possible. Their phone etiquette is poor, and it's hard to trust a medical office with both a rude doctor and staff.

So grateful for having him diagnose me. They explained the procedures thoroughly and everything went as scheduled!

Office manager was extremely rude. This provider is listed as a PCP accepting new patients through my insurance. I called to ask and they literally stutteredin confusion then put their aggressive office manager on the phone. Why are so many doctors improperly listed as accepting patients and acting so rude when you call to ask? I'm not looking to waste my time either. Stay away from here, nasty/uninformed front desk staff and manager means nasty boss and disorganized practice.

Dr. Amrick is wonderful. He spends so much time with patients and really makes you feel comfortable. He answers every question you have an explains exactly what's going on in terms you can understand. The best!

Dr. Amrick is a knowledgeable and caring doctor. He explains everything and has been my GI doctor for 6 years. My wife is a physician, and she recommended him highly.

My husband could not get an appointment because his receptionist decided to argue that we should go to the emergency room....and then she called to say that the doctor felt that there was a conflict of interest in taking a patient from a doctor who is too sick to take patients....either his receptionist is too controlling of his patients without his knowledge or the doctor is incapable of communication. Instead of being innappropriate and going to the emergency department we went to a walk-in emergicare clinic and saw a very capable doctor immediately...

Dr. Amrick successfully treated my daughter a couple of years ago and I was impressed by his competence and kindness. I recently became a patient when I developed a digestive problem. He explained why certain tests would be necessary and then thoroughly reviewed them with me.

Very thorough. Nice doctor. Spent enough time asking questions and answering mine. Only complaint would be that the exam table was dirty.
