Dr. Thomas J Balshi, DDS

My experience with Dr. Balshi was extremely negative. He and his staff were difficult to communicate with. You mostly talk to his staff at first an then he comes in for a few minutes at the end. I had to wait in the waiting room two hours to see him. Then waited another 20 minutes before he came in and than waited again to get price estimate. On my first visit, I When I asked Dr. Balshi, after implants were placed, what type of materials he used he did not answer and told me dismissively that "most of his patients were just glad they had teeth. " I also on first visit discussed extensively with his interviewing staff individual implants, that were easy to clean around, but basically was given an implant bridge, much to my dismay. He and his staff were also dismissive of complaints on follow up visits, if they themselves determined the complaint was not valid. Even if told that opinions from second opinion dentists verified the complaint was valid. One person who was assigned to help… fashion the crown for my implant to several hours to do the work and kept wiping her gloved hand on her jeans instead of a towel. I know she was taking too long because Dr. Balshi stood in the doorway and said to her: "coming in for the home stretch" likely as a way to covertly suggest she get the work done. My face on the side of that implant was very swolllen after that tech took forever to deal with a crown. After crown was placed their was a pocket formed that was difficult to clean with interdental brushes because bone was on a slant. Other dentists said this was not proper. The only good thing I can say is that the implants did osseointegrate and still

Disapointing

Dr. Thomas Balshi is a four-star dentist. His commitment to his patients is as exceptional as his work. You will find no other prosthodontist who has perfected the development and placement of new prosthodontic teeth in this country.
