Dr. Thomas Hunter Bartell, MD

Dr. Bartell and his staff are absolutely amazing. Every encounter or appointment I’ve had has been wonderful. I simply could not be happier with my results. They far exceeded my expectations! Before having my procedures, I did months of research to find a surgeon who specialized in what I wanted. That lead me to a different state and a considerable drive but it was so worth it. Dr. Bartell is kind, caring, experienced, extremely knowledgeable and has a fun sense of humor. His staff is truly fantastic in every way. I have and will continue to highly recommend Dr. Bartell to anyone I know wanting the surgeries he offers.

I normally don’t leave bad reviews but it’s been a year since I’ve had my breast done and currently saving to get them redone elsewhere Staff was amazing! But I would not recommend Bartell...my follow ups were extremely rushed like he was in a huge hurry to move on (I actually had to YouTube how to do the breast massages because he was in such a hurry to end our follow up he never showed me) any concerns were brushed off and I’d leave the follow up mad and unhappy The end result I received is horrible They are 2 totally separate sizes 2 totally separate profiles And the cost to get it fixed was almost half the amount I paid to get them done to begin with

So relaxing with all the staff, I felt so comfortable with them all. I am healed so easily. I liked every thing about it so far!

What I noticed about Dr. Bartell is his willingness to listen to my concerns and explain the procedure and expectations with such care. I can tell he sets a very high standard for himself and is always trying his best.

I have had a breast augmentation done 3 times by Dr. Bartell and it still isn't right. This has affected all aspects of my life. I wish I would have never gone to him!! I do not recommend him and want others to be aware.

I had decided to have a breast augmentation. I researched the surgeons in Madison. I am very happy I did. I did check previous reviews, but the quality of Dr. Bartell's work on his website is what made me decide to check him out. Boy, am I glad I did. I do not understand where the negativity is coming from about his office staff. I had multiple consults with different surgeon in Madison, and she was by far the best!! I enjoyed my consultation with Dr. Bartell, he was professional, but also sincere. I didn't feel like I was just another patient. When Katie came in to go over the price quote, she was very thorough and professional. She encouraged me to ask her questions as she had the surgery, which I did. She was very upfront and honest about her experience. I really liked that about her. By the time I left the office, I felt very informed and was so impressed with how professional and kind both of them were. On the surgery day, again the staff was professional. The… recovery nurse is awesome. I appreciated how Dr. Bartell confirmed everything with me and made sure I was comfortable with my decisions before I went into surgery. I have very surprised how quick everything was. I felt like I blinked my eyes and it was done. He called me in the evening to see how I was doing, wow! My postoperative recovery wasn't bad. The second day is definitely worse than the first. I definitely made sure I was icing and taking the pain pills that day. I was able to gradually decrease the pain pills and was off them by my first follow up appointment. I did still ice here and there though. The first follow up visit was pretty quick, but I didn't have very many questions of my own to ask him. I also felt very comfortable with being able to call in with any additional questions. Overall my experience with Dr. Bartell and his staff was awesome. I would suggest ignoring the negativity about Katie and give her a chance. I am sure glad I did!! My breasts are beautiful and I am so happy!!

Dr Bartell has such a wonderful bedside manner! He really cares about his patients and does excellent work. He will listen to your concerns and answer all of your questions. I just can't say enough good things about this Dr. and his staff! They are all so caring. I am 52 years old and I wanted to tackle gravity before it took too much of a toll. He liposuctioned my breasts instead of surgery and I love the results, and no scars. The second procedure was hips and thighs. I did not want to be much smaller than I already am, size 6 but he went way above and beyond and sculpted quite a bit so that now just 10 days past my clothes fit so much better. Kate at the front desk is very kind. I read the review that she was rude but my experience with her was great. Keep in mind that this doctor does not charge a consult fee so the staff has a lot of appointments that may be people that are not quite ready to commit. The staff in the operating room are mainly nurses that work at St Marys … hospital so they are experts. I love the fact this doctor has his own facility and he calls you the evening after your procedure! A great experience and worth every penny.

Dr Bartell and staff are top notch caring professionals. I have had a tummy tuck, breast lift and augmentation, and next month a brachioplasty. Great results, great bedside manner. Might be a little more expensive than others...but well worth it. You get what you pay for right?

Dr. Bartell, is great. My breasts are perfect and the scars are invisible in my underarm. I became addicted to improving my physical appearance. My abdomen, FLAT, I can wear bikini's at 40!!!! Check him our before considering another surgeon.
