Very friendly. Explained things thoroughly to me which I appreciate. Pretty quick too, I was in and out as a new patient in under an hour.

Dr. Bates replaced one hip and getting ready to replace the second. His work is amazing and I wouldn't have anyone else do this. Highly recommend!

My first visit was today, 4/15/26. I was very impressed with Dr. Bates, his bedside manner, genuine concern and communication. I picked the right one!

Dr. Bates is an excellent physician/sugeon. I just received my 2nd gel injection in my right knee and the procedure went well. He always listens to my comments and answers my questions! I highly recommend him.

Although the surgery seemed to go well, after 8 months of recovery time, my knee is still feeling abnormally painful and cannot be used as a normal knee as I had been anticipating. Other knee replacement patients I know were doing very well after three months following the surgery but after all this time, I am still swollen and the scar is red. One area on the knee remains bruised and I feel like my knee is not part of me. It seems to click at times and it remains bigger than the other knee. It is a shame that most of the other reviews were deleted and can no longer be viewed... . The dr thinks that some floating pieces of bone might be responsible for the pain but absolutely NOTHING IS BEING DONE to correct the problem. I am so disappointed that I could cry... As I had told him, I was counting on my knee to feel better as I am suffering already from severe pain in my entire back, my hand, my hips and my neck.

Dr. Bates and Mr. Steve are very excellent in the surgery they perform as well as the care I received afterwards. The office procedures in scheduling of surgery made it so easy. The lab work, x-rays, and ekg were done right at the office. I was given a book with all appointments listed. They were always very quick to return phone calls if I called for anything. Would recommend them to anyone. Thanks for the great care and the difference in this surgery compared to my first surgery from another practice has been awesome.

Dr Bates was able to diagnose and establish a plan of action. He wasn't hesitant in what was needed for me, as another physician was. Highly recommend him, his practice and the hospital.

Dr. Bates did my surgery about eight years. EXCELLENT results.
