Dr. Thomas Andrew Becherer, MD

Dr. Becherer and his entire staff are amazing. They respond almost immediately to emails and when I've been sent for testing they have called me right away, often before I've even left the parking lot where tests are done to move up appointments or to check in with me. I have never had a question unanswered. Medically I would trust this Dr. And staff with my life. He is very honest and straightforward and truly takes the time to listen. He is an amazing surgeon and has a great bedside manner. I cannot thank him enough for the care he has given me and how well he has treated my family as well.

I found him to be rather brusque. I saw a very respected neurosurgeon until he retired. I had been shown my MRI films and the damage to the cervical spine was clear and detailed by the radiologist. It must have magically vanished because Dr. Becherer said there is nothing wrong with my neck. I won't go back to him for anything.

Very impressed with dr Becherer great surgeon. I was in so much pain diagnosed by problem. Herniated disc ,had my surgery. It went great after few days no pain. Felt I could return to work within a week but waited until after therapy. I highly recommend Dr Becherer he is a great surgeon. DMTurner

Dr. Becherer is a fabulous surgeon! I had to practically be carried into JHE for surgery and he told me I would walk out pain free and I thought, right. But he was right, I walked out of the hospital with no pain in my leg or behind! I would recommend him to anyone who needed back surgery.

I was very impressed with Dr. Becherer his bedside manner and willingness to answer any questions were a nice change. I don't need surgery which was a relief but he still went a step further explain what may be the reason behind my symptoms and setting me up with an appt with another specialty to help.

Dr. Becherer is a competent surgeon. My major problem with him is his lack of aftercare. as long as you do not have to remain his patient past a normal amount of time he is fine. However, I had to have my surgery redone, no fault of the doctor that I know of, his concern and aftercare quality went from good to what seemed like an imposition on his and his staff's time. Now I have to start all over with another doctor. Not the best of personality and aftercare, but he is an able surgeon.
