Dr. Thomas A Bizzaro, MD

He is retiring in less than a month, and I am not sure what to think. Maybe the girl at the desk could use the change. She is not returning my calls for me to get my records to be sent to my new doctor. When I was there before to get them, and some snobby lady cut me off, the girl did not do anything. He first saw me and automatically assumed I had high cholesterol just because I am overweight, but blood work proved him wrong. Arrogant. And he never did a urine test on me.

Dr. Bizzaro is a wonderful doctor. He is so courteus to me. He always talks to me and makes me feel at ease. I had a heart problem that I was born with and never knew. Dr. Bizzaro became aware of my condition and sent me for testing. I had to get surgery. If it were not for Dr. Bizzaro finding out my condition (when no other doctor diagnosed me of having congenital heart disease) after living with it for 33 years, I would not be here today. I am thankful and grateful to Dr. Bizzaro today and always. He is wonderful.

Both myself and a close friend have had terrible experiences with Dr. Bizarro and our elderly mothers. He has no bedside manner to speak of - is downright nasty and condescending, especially with older people. In both cases, he misdiagnosed the patients and they ended up in the hospital within 24 hours of seeing him in his office. All he does is overmedicate - he just loves xanax for old folks. In short - the guy stinks - stay away!
