Dr. Thomas L Bossi, DO

He will work with you if you're concerned regarding health problems or potential health problems, I just don't think he does well with patients who fall on either side of the spectrum of know-it-alls to doctor-knows-best.

I have gone to Dr. Bossi for several years. He is very easy to talk to and he takes the time to listen to any physical issues you have. He also takes the time to explain medical issues to you in an easy to understand way. I have recommended him to several people already. I really liked the fact that once I turned 50 his office CONTACTED ME to get me to schedule my over 50 colonoscopy. I didn't have to initiate anything. Very thorough!

Took my son to see Dr. Bossi and was redirected to his MA ... my son had been sick a lot so I suggested that he may asmtha, 2 of my other children and myself have asmtha, they would not look into it at all, just prescribed antibiotics after antibiotics after antibiotics!!! My son was sick for 8 months straight!!! I did switch doctors and now Dr. Luna right away suggested an X-ray and got him into an asthma clinic !!! All Dr. Bossi and his MA wanted to do was keep prescribing pills..... ?? Oh!!! Yes my son does have asmtha

Great Doctor. Listens to you

I feel that Dr. Bossi is still just in the hospital mentality of dealing with patients. In his outpatient services he spends no time getting to know them and their illnesses, in fact if you don't schedule your appointment properly he'll walk right out the door while you begin to bring up other stuff, E.G. you ask for a follow up but then want to discuss a new health problem or concern you're having, he'll tell you his conclusion to the follow up and walk out the door. I think he's a good and intelligent doctor, but he has a ways to go before he's ready to work in outpatient services.

If .5 star was an option I would do it instead of a full one better yet 0. I do not like dr bossi staff at all the nurses/medical assistant have no idea what they're doing. When asked what her job title was she responded "I'm an MA or something" I said "medical assistant?" she said "oh yeah that's it!" doesnt know her job title! All dr bossi does is write pills and sends u out the door. When asked why I'm in the condition I'm in he responded with jokingly "you have the body of an 80 yr old". I called on the phone once and the "nurse" kept mistaking my condition for another one and I said "no I'm having blah blah blah the drug u keep talking about is for blah blah" and she said annoyed "IM AWARE." I don't trust them w my health care.

I only gave the staff one star because zero stars or less is not an option. They are extremely condescending, rude, lazy, and uncompassionate. If that wasn't bad enough, the doctor is generally dismissive and doesn't listen to much, of anything at all, of what you have to say; oh, and he DOES NOT take phone calls from patients. Ever. Instead you get to deal with the terrible office staff who apparently make all his decisions for him. I absolutely would not recommend this office to anyone!

2 times gave scrips that staff wouldnt do, guess they are the doctors.

Been going to Dr. Bossi for years and over time become more unhappy with each visit. I do not care for the medical assistants or nurses at all because they are unfriendly. Dr. Bossi rushes you and doesn't seem to care if something really bothers you. I had a family member who had severe symptoms and he brushed it off as they were no big deal, turned out to be a HUGE deal. He's easy to get an appointment with and the longest I've ever waited in the waiting room is 10 minutes, but I will never go to him if I'm really concerned about something again. He's the doctor you go to if you have snot coming out of your nose and that's it. As far as his "medical assistants" and even "nurses" go, I do not trust them at all as they've made several errors with things for me.

My husband, my daughter and myself are all patients of Dr. Bossi and have been for several years. The medical assistants are great and listen and ask us questions and write stuff down before he even comes in and sees us. We all have had our share of medical problems in the past and if he couldn't completely tell us what was wrong after blood work, x-rays, and other tests he always sends us to the right person who can. He is quick but he does answer questions when he is asked. Recently I was having headaches for several days and went to him and he thought it was a sinus infection and so did I. Gave me an antibiotic and it still wasn't better after 10 days plus I tripped over my dog and loss some vision in my left eye. I went back to him and he sent me for a CAT scan to find out I had a non cancerous tumor on my brain. He sent me to a neurosurgeon just to be safe and I have to see him for the next five years. Dr Bossi also said that is not what is causing my vision loss, so I… asked him if I should see an optometrist and he said yes. I went to the optometrist and he scared me by asking if I had a stroke after looking at the back of my eyes because my optic nerves were swollen so bad. Both the optometrist and Dr Bossi sent me to the ER which found out I had spinal fluid building up on my optic nerves. Now I see several doctors because they all have their own specialty. The point is Dr Bossi is a family doctor and has never had a problem sending anyone in my family to the appropriate specialist if it was needed and he is great with follow up care as well.
