Dr. Thomas Chandler Bridges, DDS

Dr. Bridges was born and raised in the Bay Area.  It was during his adolescence that his fascination and awareness of dentistry began while undergoing orthodontic treatment.  He subsequently worked for his orthodontist while in college and decided that dentistry was a great fusion of his artistic and science background.  Dr. Bridges graduated from University of California, San Diego in 1994 with a BS in Physiology and Neuroscience and a minor in Spanish Literature.  He then worked at University of California, San Francisco prior to dental school researching  ophthalmology diseases afflicting third world nations.  He graduated with honors from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1998 and went directly into group practice in San Francisco, CA. 
While in dental school, Dr. Bridges, along with a few other students and Faculty members, had co-founded an outreach program, S.C.O.P.E. (Student Community Outreach for Public Education) which has grown to be a …successful public education program at UOP School of Dentistry.  In 2004, after joining Health Volunteers Overseas, Dr. Bridges traveled to Managua, Nicaragua to teach various dental procedures to the faculty and students of the Universidad Americana Dental School, general dentists of the Nicaraguan Military Hospital and private practice dentists in Nicaragua.  Upon return from Nicaragua, Dr. Bridges opened his own private practice in Union Square in San Francisco and has been enjoying the art and science of dentistry ever since.
At his San Francisco office at 360 Post Street, Dr. Bridges has an exceptional staff with whom he strives to ensure optimal dental health and comfort for his patients.
Dr. Bridges enjoys photography, art, being with his family, traveling and Lake Tahoe any time of the year.
