I am going to another Dentist for a second opinion!!

My first appointment I was told I had 9 cavities! I was absolutely stunned! And every single one of them were in my front teeth; the teeth that I, inadvertently, pay more attention to than the others. It took 3 gut-wrenching visits to get this work completed because a couple of them were on the upper right side of my mouth, a few on the upper left side of my mouth and the rest on the bottoms. They couldn't numb my whole mouth and do them all or I wouldn't be able to swallow. I had to wait at least an hour past my scheduled appointment time to be called back into the room. The dental assistant does all of the prepping and even the drilling and filling. The only thing the dentist actually performed was the numb shot. But he did stick around in the room for a few minutes to share honeyed words with the assistant. Evidently she had just broken up with her boyfriend and he wasn't moving all of his possessions out of the garage when he told her that he would. The little tv that was… mounted over my head wasn't turned up loud enough to drown out the details of the boyfriend and said assistant's, all too boring-according to her, sex romps. This has got to be the most unprofessional establishment of any kind that I have ever visited in my life. And I am thirty something. I've heard more appropriate conversations in an American Pie movie. Of course I found a new dentist. I would recommend not going here. On one occasion, I was in the waiting room for one hour and fifty minutes.

My rating is actually no stars but I had to select at least one. My daughter had a terrible experience at Ultra Dental. Dr Brooksbank seems nice enough, but he does not do all the work. He drilled my daughters tooth and an assistant filled it. She had pain for days afterwards but was told "it would calm down". When they agreed to see her a week later they told me they had to redo the filling but could give me no explanation why. Then they went on to tell me that all of her back teeth needed work. I decided to get a second opinion and the new dentist couldn't find anything wrong with her other teeth! I'm glad I didn't agree to all that work and put her through all that for nothing. Even after the second opinion they offered to explanation and didn't seem to care about anything other than the bill.
