Dr. Thomas F Brown

I have seen Dr. Brown for 15 years. My teeth have been well cared for and he has the best technology to make sure your teeth are in top shape! I even went to change dentists and after 1 cleaning went back to Dr. Brown- my teeth didn’t even feel clean after the other dentist! I will stick with Dr. Brown and his associates! They do great work and his hygienists clean your teeth much better than others.

I almost never write reviews, but I depend on reading them for almost everything I buy or everywhere I go. I wanted to let people know how professional and courteous and educational my experiences have been with this dentist office. Both Mary Beth and Dr. Cody were fantastic during my last visit, and Mary Kay is wonderful as well! I would not hesitate to recommend this dentist office to anyone who is concerned about the care of their teeth.

I had a similar experience as some of the other reviewers. Several years ago I took my 2 teenagers to Dr. Brown's office. Between the two of them they identified 18 cavities. 18! In kids who had been going to the dentist every 6 months for their entire lives. I was expecting we might have some cavities because they had just gotten out of braces, but 18 seemed impossible. After I got that bad news, they sent me in to see an employee whose entire job seemed to be to get you psychologically adjusted to how much this is going to cost--like at a car dealership where they have a person who works on you until you accept a payment that is much higher than you intended. I subsequently took the kids to a different dentist who found and filled 5 cavities between the two of them.

I really enjoyed my dental visit -- Everyone was super personal and friendly. The assistants explained all of the treatment well, answered all of my questions. The doctor even personally called me the next day to see how I felt after my appointment! Highly recommend and will be bringing my kids here this summer!

Feels very money minded and trys to schedule more and more treatment to get maximum out of your insurance

Cavity factory

I saw Dr. Brown a year ago. He told me I had 11 cavities. I went to another dentist and they found 4. The other dentist told me that a few others were at risk of becoming cavities. I agree with the review on yelp that it is a cavity factory. The staff is mostly horrible. The hygienist Jessie was kind and very helpful. However "Dr. Brown," "Dr.Huguelet", and Angie (dental assistant) were all a pain. When he did the anesthesia with the needle, I felt like something was destroying my gums. Also, Angie told me I have moderate gingivitis and that I need to floss my teeth hard and "really get up in there with the floss." However, based on research and my new dentist's advice, floss actually naturally fits into your teeth. So yes, those dental assistants at Dr. Brown's are giving their patients wrong information. He also brought his daughter in to observe my crowns, which I found annoying. She kept staring at my teeth, which made me feel super uncomfortable. He did not take my permission to… see if okay with her observing. Thank god I did not have her doing any work on me- she looked very clumsy and not so intelligent. Another thing I gound weird was that he would not allow my mother to come into the room. That was very strange for me because I was 17 at the time, so still considered a kid. I know I had a lot to say, but no one goes from 11 to 4 cavities. When I had crowns done there, the price was insane! My insurance immediately maxed out. Based on my experience, I definitely felt that he is one of those money-minded dentists. Also, just a heads up to "Dr. Brown," and "Dr. Huguelet," physiciansnare doctors. A dentist is not considered a doctor. That was the funniest part about his office- everyone placed so much stress on calling him a doctor, but he is not one at all!
