He mutilated my body during surgery. He admitted to Henry Ford Cancer Board ge probably shouldn't have pulled the skin from the tumor to another area because he spread the cancer cells. He stated to my husband and I that I formed another tumor in that area and chemo and radiation were necessary. Four surgeries later I am still dealing with his error. Even my radiology oncologist stated I was mutilated. My chemo nurses kept asking me has Dr. Buekker seen you or discussed your platelets, electrolyte levels? Never, he never followed up with me. Only my radiation oncologist was available to help me. Shame on Henry Ford for employing this surgeon. Yes, I definitely switched specialists.

Dr Buekers is the best He is a excellent doctor and surgeon. He is compassion and cares about his patients. It is to bad he is leaving the practice. I will be finding another doctor. I can not believe Henry ford did not do everything in their power to keep him. You keep losing all these good doctors and it is a shame. You want production and your not going to get that from anyone. You want them to work like a robot you dont care about the patients like the doctors and nurses do.
