Dr. Thomas Darrell Cain, MD

I am my mother's caregiver she is 89 years old and she has health problems. One of them is gout and she has pain and a serious problem sleeping. Tell me, please,what kind of Doctor would let a old women live in such discomfort in her maybe last day or days. He will not give her pain meds that not only takes pain away but would make her feel better. It will take her depression, her anxiety and insomnia away also. Tell me, what kind of Doctor is he? And to tell my Mother he could lose his license. Flat out lied to my Mother. He can help her but he won't. I hear from her everyday about how she feels and she really wants to die, she's miserable. It is the young people who are abusing pain meds. not us old people who really need a remedy. So I give Dr. Cain no stars but 5 demerets.

Dr. Cain has all of the things a doctor needs to be a good internist: bedside manner, in-depth knowledge of obscure problems, and the ability to look at a number of medical problems in relation to a complex whole and render an accurate diagnosis with an appropriate treatment plan.Although I am quite young, Dr. Cain treats me no different from his older patients. He seems to actually care about whether I get better, and he tries to go the extra mile in helping me figure out which medicines I can afford (i.e. generic vs. brand-name).I have already recommended him to many friends, and will continue to do so.
