Dr. Thomas Brian Caskey, MD

Thomas Brian Caskey, MD, welcomes patients of all ages with a wide range of health conditions. Dr. Caskey practices urgent care medicine at Willis-Knighton Quick Care after working with Shreveport families since his licensure in 1986.  

He approaches patients like members of his own family, with clear communication of the diagnosis and treatment plan. With an eye on patient-centered care, Dr. Caskey allows patients to ask important questions as he listens closely to their needs and helps them make informed decisions about their care. He values seeing patients return to their normal life activities with family and friends.  

He earned his bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Dr. Caskey then graduated from LSU Medical Center-Shreveport School of Medicine, followed by his internship and internal medicine residency at the same location. He is a board-certified physician and a lifetime diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine.  

When not caring for patients, Dr. Caskey spends quality time with his wife, two children and grandchildren. His hobbies include running, playing trombone in his church orchestra, college football, landscaping and water sports.
