Thomas Hong Chun

Dr. Chun is a wonderful and caring doctor, very personable. I am so fortunate that he is my doctor.

Dr. Chun misdiagnosed my son, and now my son has cancer that has spread to both of his lungs. Dr. Chun reassured me that it was nothing to worry about, and now I am worrying about my son beating cancer! I would never, ever recommend Dr. Thomas Chun to anyone. Stay away from this doctor. My heart is broken.

I was prescribed Cipro for Prostate infection. Two days before prescription was over,I called the doctors office, told them, I was no better.Requested more Cipro. His INCOMPETENT office help said they would talk to the doctor and call in more Cipro. Four days later, and my medicine was still not called in.We called many times to fix the problem. Finally, someone from the office called and said it was called in. We called the CVS three different times and no Cipro was called in. Next morning,we called the doctors office AGAIN. The staff said their was a mistake and it was not called in. THIS DOCTOR HAS A BUNCH OF INCOMPETENT MORONS working for him. I went without the antibiodic for 2 days because of MORONS working for this doctor. This infection I have: HURTS, IS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE, AND IS VERY HARD TO TO GET RID OF. This staff caused my MED to laps. They prolonged my illness, and STRESSED me out big time. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR OR HIS STAFF. A DOCTOR IS ONLY AS GOOD AS HIS… STAFF. I give this office 5 FFFFF

Dr. Chun was extremely patient and thorough explaining his diagnosis to me. And the surgery was successful. I would highly recommend him. His PA staff were excellent too. It was difficult to schedule appointments though. Hard to get through to a real person and not all messages got passed along.

After many years the group changed ownership to Wellstar Group. Unfortunately appears urology associates is more interested in profits rather than the interest of patients. Appear to push expensive invasive medical procedures than taking less costly preliminary testing procedures. Very disappointed with Dr. Chung and that whole group. After many years would not recommend or use anyone affiliated with that group former or latter. Simply lost all confidence.

Dr. Chun was wonderful. He diagnosed me quickly and set up surgery within a week. (and he was supposed to be on vacation that week!) He was wonderful and my experience was great. The MA's were great as well! However, the office staff is large and very unorganized. They did also try to charge me a co-pay for POST-OP visits, which are covered by my insurance 100%, Didn't care for that aspect. Overall a wonderful experience with Dr. Chun,just not with the actual office staff.

Dr Chun showed a genuine interest in my illness. He demonstrated expertise and took the time to explain my xrays/KUB in a manner that I could understand and discussed in depth his findings, concerns and possible resolutions.He was personable and professional. He made me feel confident in his ability to accurately and safely take care of me.

The only doctor in Atlanta that will give you a hug and a personal phone call after surgery. Dr. Chun goes above and beyond for his patients. He loves his job and it truly shows. I consider him not only my doctor but my friend. I have been coming to Urology Associates for over a year now and I honestly don't know what I would do without him. I have a lifelong illness at a very young age. Knowing that I have Dr. Chun gives me great relief. I am so grateful that I have him!

I just had a vasectomy performed by Dr. Chun. The only reason I had it done is because everyone I talked to said they had a great experience. They were given medicine to help them sleep through the procedure. I did not want to be awake during it and was clear about that right before the procedure. He said well we evaluate that before we do the procedure and you didn't need it. I don't care what he thinks. I DID NOT WANT TO KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON. I was awake the entire time. I was told I was feel a sting from the local to numb the area and a little tug during. I WAS IN PAIN THE WHOLE PROCEDURE. My wife told him repeatedly that "he can feel that, he is hurting". I do not recommend him for this procedure.
