Dr. Thomas Ciecierega, MD

While the appointment started on time and the resident was professional and kind, the experience went downhill once the doctor entered. He immediately stated my daughter’s case was "too complex" and claimed this hospital was the wrong facility for motility issues. He performed a very perfunctory exam and was dismissive of our concerns, even telling me to "just breathe" while my daughter was in tears. We left feeling hopeless and unheard. I would not recommend this provider for complex cases.

I can’t express enough how exceptional Dr. Ciecierega was. He went above and beyond at our new patient consult to hear our concerns, review a stack of test results and had an open mind and engaged in consideration of not only our concerns of the moment but the consideration of future health concerns in relation to the different approaches of where we go from here. He was kind and compassionate. He eased my teens unease by addressing him as the patient yet listened intently to my fears and as a family discussed his assessment and offered multiple pathways for us to consider. I would rate Dr C with rave reviews. I felt like in that one hour, we made more progress than the 2 years we have been chasing our tails

My son loves Dr.Ciecierega !! We went for the first visit and my son was stressed about it but Dr. Ciecierega broke the ice in seconds with laughters. Very friendly and very professional. Dr.Ciecierega listened to me and my son with no rush . He made it simple and easy to understand. No wait time . The nurses are loving and professional !! Great experience !! I highly recommend Dr.Ciecierega .

Hands down was one of the best doctors we have seen with my 4yr old. Knowledgeable and still managed to make her laugh! HIGHLY recommend!

This man is a heartless individual. My 5 year old son (who's autistic) and I had an 8:30 AM appointment with him, first visit. We live in Brooklyn, so I warned them ahead of time that we may be a little behind since we're a so far. Needless to say we ran in to traffic so by the time we arrived I was 30 minutes late. Granted I had called at least three times while in transit giving them my eta. When I got to the front desk he refused to see him. I told him I would wait around for a later appointment and he said no. Sorry. I spent $65 to get there and more to come back and he had zero sympathy. He's an a$$hole. Do not see him.

This approach not only comforted my daughter but also involved her in her healthcare decisions, which was very important for me. The care provided was thorough and thoughtful. He dedicated sufficient time for a comprehensive evaluation, clarifying the reasons behind each test. I would highly recommend.
