Dr. Clark, originally from central Montana, joined Drs Akre and Simpson in 2003 before he became partner, and the name was changed. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon, where he received the David J. Kerko award for his exemplary clinical and academic knowledge in the field of low vision.
Dr. Clark clinical experience includes the VA Medical Center in Spokane, Washington, and private practice in Golden, Colorado, and Jamestown, North Dakota.
Professionally Dr. Clark is or has been a member of the American Optometric Association, American Diabetes Association, Nation Glaucoma Society and Minnesota Optometric Association.
Locally Dr. Clark has served as a Board Member and President of the New Ulm Area Foundation, and Board Member of New Ulm Area …Chamber of Commerce, New Ulm Basketball Association. Dr. Clark is also actively a member of Rotary-Springfield. Dr. Clark lives in New Ulm with his wife, and son who enjoy travelling and various sports.
