Dr. Thomas Collingwood Edwards

Dr. Edwards is by far the best doctor I’ve had the opportunity to be treated by. He is compassionate but no nonsense. He’s thorough and listens to his patients. He treats with compassion and education and I feel that my best interests are always his concern. I’d highly recommend him.

Gone to dr Edwards my whole life, just don't like the ladies at the front desk. Very rude and not helpful

I have gone to Dr Edwards for many many years, most of my kids who are grown now have not seen any other Dr. He treats you as if you are intelligent and doesn't talk down to you. He also gives it to you straight. This is also the only Dr I have ever known who gave me his home phone number in case I really needed him. There is no one better.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Edwards since 1980. That is when we were both so sick we were literally laying on the floor by the toilet. It was a Saturday. He was on call for our friends' doctor. We called the after hours number and were told a doctor would call us back, shortly. Dr. Edwards called us back within five minutes and told us he would meet him at the office in fifteen minutes! Our friend drove us there; Tom was there when we arrived. He gave us both shots and the vomiting stopped within thirty minutes. As adults, our sons continue to go to him.

I've been going to Dr. Edwards for several years and have always found him to be pleasant and helpful. However, my recent visit left a lot to be desired. Office has moved and no one told me. Staff is rude. Dr. Edwards was completely uninterested in me or my complaints. I mentioned something that was bothering me and he said " That means something... I don't know what" as he walked out the door. Exam over. I was in the room for less than 5 minutes. I'll be looking for a new doctor.

He is a fantastic doctor, he knows his stuff

Referral girl messed up and went on vacation. Left all files until she came back. stalled and wrote areferral to the wrong place. After 3 weeks of calling and trying to get them to write a correct referral, the office manager said that I will not have access to my doctor and I should "self care" and deal with my health issue myself. ( It's a life threatening condition)Referral girl and office manager are covering up the referral girl's mistakes and refusing access to my doctor.Needless to say, the staff was negligent and is covering it up.Lawyers are now involved as well as Medicare and Insurance company.

I have been seeing Dr. Edwards since 1992. He has been a great doctor for me, even when I lost my job and lost my insurance 2 years ago Dr. Edwards has seen me at a minimal charge. Now that doesn't happen very often in this old greedy world . I would have no health care at all if it were not for Dr. Edwards.

I have been a patient of Dr Edwards since 1983 and he is terrific. I am highly recommending him for any needs.
