Dr. Thomas Anthony Coury, DO

This place is horrendous. The staff are rude and less than worthless. Coury is an incompetent idiot that has little to no concern for his patients wellbeing. If his useless injections dont work then prepare to be kicked out and accused of using heroine, yet no independant secondary confirmatory testing will be performed on the sample.

After 6 phone calls, talking to different people in the office, no one could figure out how to do the MRI request for my knee and foot correctly. Over 2 months this has been going on and not once did Dr. Coury or any office staff contact me to see how I was doing OR to inform me of the status. Every time I called, the seemed confused and acted as if they forgot to resubmit the MRI request. I have never been treated this way by a doctor before.

Dr Coury and Dr Shultz are amazing doctors however I wish I could say the same for their staff. A week is what is required to call in medications which need to be filled yet the messages are either not written correctly or not at all. So don't count on them taking yours correctly????

Wonderful help, very knowledgeable. Able to identify what was wrong right away. I went in for a single issue and it was solved. My mother however is a long time patient and is doing better now than I ever saw her during my life before being treated by dr coury.

I would give it a 0. This place is horrible, all about the money. They aggressively pursued me for an appointment, even helped themselves to a prior authorization b4 I spoke to them. Told repeatedly I was coming in for my Methadone pain RX, they confirmed and reconfirmed. I was with Ashley, overseen by Dr. Coury, less than 30 seconds and told "we don't do Methadone, well I guess that's it". As mad as I was they wasted my time I figured the way they left me at least it wasn't going to cost me any money. Then I find they got paid by my insurance company and want money from me. I tried to call and fix it but they dont answer or hang up and don't return messages. I don't like being robbed. Since they insist, I will spread the word and help others avoid them. Tom P

Dr. Coury's office does not respond to calls or messages requesting assistance for post procedure problems. Numerous calls were made and recorded message was left requesting assistance for critical problems following a spinal ablation procedure, but no response was received and I ended up getting an ambulance ride to the hospital emergency room for treatment and care. My plight was reconfirmed several times by medical professionals who were well aware of this ongoing problem in reaching Dr. Coury after he performs a medical procedure. This is a potentially life threatening and unprofessional way to treat patients that legitimately need assistance from the doctor who performed the procedure that is causing the problem.

After many years and many procedures, Desert Sky is the most significant improvement in chronic pain.

This office and their staff are so courteous and nice. Always there to answer my questions and sympathetic to my needs or situation. They are fast and I never have to wait very long. And I never feel rushed at my appts. They stay with you as long as necessary to make sure your ok with visit, your ok with treatment, and explain it completely. Love this place and I have tried several.

I am so pleased with this office. Dr. Coury has taken the time to listen and help me regain my life. I am off of medications and I have my life back. The staff at Desert Sky is awesome!
