Dr. Thomas Benjamin Dasilva, DPM

I recently had a pre-op appointment for a bilateral bunionectomy. While I agree with the other reviewer that Dr. Dasilva’s bedside manner wasn’t spectacular, I think it’s just his personality. He was very direct and to the point but was willing to listen to all of my questions. I recently got done taking antibiotics and he assured me that the risks of infection were still low. I had a list of several other questions that he answered honestly and thoroughly. I felt reassured after the pre-op and was given both of my boots. I have surgery scheduled in early Feb of 2021 and I will update my review as I progress through the recovery stage.

If I Could give “0” I would. This guy had terrible bed side manner , explained a procedure to me in 5 minutes with minimal directions. Proceeded to botch a toe surgery on my left great toe. It’s been 19 months and my toe is worse than what it was pre-operation. Told me I’d be good in “4-6” weeks and that it’s a easy operation. The surgery was a “Chilectomy.” Do yourself a favor, pay the extra cash to find a legitimate orthopedic surgeon. I’m 32 years old and an ex - athlete...and I completely feel that Da Silva is the reason my toe and overall health has regressed
