I am so grateful to have Dr. Dawes oversee my chronic health condition. He is so knowledgeable and helps me focus on restoring my health by making healthy lifestyle choices. The office is beautiful and the staff treats me like family.

Best doc on central coast

New to area needed a doctor was able to get in fairly quickly great staff called when they had a cancelled appt and were able to get me in sooner .having the availability of meds in office so convenient rather than going to pharmacy for pick up of antibiotics. Overall experience +10 great friendly office .I would highly recommend .

Out for the money only. Sold me very expensive braces I did not need and refused to take them back. Put me through injections that didn't work and greatly overcharged my insurance company to the point of them refusing to pay. Very arrogant, many things I needed his reply was I don't get paid enough and it will tae to much of time or my staffs. No one was important but himself and the money he can extract from seniors. A real rip off of a Dr. and of no service to me after several months o appointments, 25 injections and bills for services. not done. So impressed with himself that you don't have to be, he has enough for the both of you. A vey bad Dr. in my opinion and will sell you anything whether you need It or not just because of the big bucks it will bring him. DO NOT USE - Wish someone had left this info or me. PATIENT BEWARE!!!

My 87 yr. old Father was in need of a new primary care physician. I called Dr. Dawes office asking the 3 primary questions. 1. Are you accepting new patients? 2. Do you accept Dad's insurance? 3. Does the Dr. treat Seniors? Answer to all 3 was Yes. Yea! Called the insurance company and transferred insurance to Dr. Dawes but had to wait 28 days for the insurance to be active. Despite the insurance company calling the office testifying the insurance was changed the Dr. Dawes office would not schedule an appt until it showed in their computer 28 days later. When I called 28 days later to schedule an appt for my Dad I was told that DR. DAWES WOULD NOT SEE HIM BASED ON WHERE HE LIVES!!!!!! I was not asking for a house call. I was willing to bring Dad to the office for the appt. But evidently because Dad lives in the INDEPENDENT building of a senior facility they REFUSED TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT. Evidently Dr. Dawes will treat Seniors BUT NOT Seniors that live in any Senior facilities. His… Staff TOLD ME TO START ALL OVER WITH FINDING ANOTHER DOCTOR AND HUNG UP!!!!!!! BOYCOTT THIS MAN AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

He is all self important to help patients. He spreads out treatments in order to bill insurance for more money. Prescribed extremely expenses knee braces without even one X-ray. Do no good to the patient and when we asked to return them, as Orthopedic specialist took full X-rays and said they would do no good for the bone fusion problem, he refused. He has no time to straighten out prescriptions for his patients. He has time for nothing but gouging the insurance company. Do not trust this Dr. We were very disappointed.

We went in for new patient exams. I have many medical problems. He never even asked about any of that. Just did a breathing test and I failed because I just came from a house fire and ended up in ER from smoke inhalation a few days earlier. He told me I had allergies and that's why I failed the test. HA! Then he told me he could do the allergy test for only $500! HA! He never addressed my rare condition or the fact that I need to be monitored several times a month. HA! Then he did the breathing test on my wife. She has COPD. He told her she has allergies. Ha! He told her he could do the test for $500. HA! Then the assistant cleaned her ears. He charged %575 for the visit and ear cleaning and $40 and $45 just for my wife to breathe into a tube. Then another $80 for a nebulizer! HA! Then we were told that each one of us had to pay an additional $25 just for "recordkeeping" for the year. No other doctor I've ever had chargss this!! A total ripoff and all he wanted to do is make more money… on new patients. Stay away from this guy like the plague!!

Dr. Dawes listens, is quick to do what ever is needed to be done. Goes out of his way to accommodate the patient. He has a warm and caring bed side manner that is rarely found anymore. I tell all my friends about Dr. Dawes and Dianne Dawes who specializes in diabetes.

kind, professional & quick with injections

I've been going there for about five years now and the staff and the Drs are very accomodating and professional. I seriously doubt a phone was thrown at a patient.... come on, if that were the case how come you aren't suing them?????
