Dr. Thomas Edward Degrave, DO

Have been a long time patient of Dr DeGrave. He treated my Father for years before I (and my family) switched over. He treated my elderly Father thoughtfully and with compassion. He is always willing to talk to you and alleviate your worries about possible treatments. He NEVER pushes anything, always asks what you think before moving forward. I would recommend him confidently to anyone.

Have been going to Dr. Degrave for years and have referred others to him. He's caring, compassionate, takes the time to listen to my concerns, thoroughly answers any questions, doesn't just prescribe medications quickly like other Dr's. unless he feels it's really needed, will try the natural holistic approach to treating problems first like diet, exercise, etc. He will thorougly test you and use the scoring method to see if you are really at risk before prescribing medications which have so many side effects. He also has many awards including the highest award attainable, the Castle Connolly Award. He's always striving for continuing education to keep current. I think he's the best! His staff is always pleasant, courteous, and helpful.

Has gotten better and better with time. Stays current with treatment evolution and is very proactive. Yes, he is sometimes hurried and sometimes you might wait. That is an industry-wide problem of too much administrivia for doctors though and not a Dr DeGrave specific problem.

Easy doctor to talk with. Listens to you and explains things clearly to you. Staff is excellent and it is easy to obtain an appointment with the extended hours the office has. Highly recommend him.

I've been a patient of Dr. DeGrave for almost 22 years and have found him to be both very knowledgable of current medical data/trends, and yet most reasonable in applying these and discussing options/alternatives. He also cares much about patients, and will spend as much time as is necessary to explain to them. I wouldn't see anyone else.
