Dr. Thomas B Edmunds, MD

My dad had prostate cancer and heard Dr Edmunds was one of the best and left few patients incontinent. My dad was left completely incontinent and has had issues for years. He discovered at the VA hospital that during the surgery Dr Edmunds preformed his splinter was almost completely removed. This was never discussed and he had no signs that this was needed ( that the cancer was in this area).

Dr. Edmunds is the most professional, competent, thorough, and patient-friendly doctor I have known. He performed very complicated procedures on me (actually IN me) which were completely successful. Dr. Edmunds is the best!

My husband is one of Dr. Edmunds' patients - he is very hard of hearing, uses a cane, suffers from anxiety issues, but Dr. Edmunds' kind, genuine demeanor puts us at ease. He performed a vaportrode procedure, and he has done very well since. Dr. Edmunds makes what may be an uncomfortable visit with a physician into a pleasant experience overall. His staff are excellent, always cheerful and helpful.

I have been seeing Dr. Edmunds for a number of years for various issues, most recently elevated PSA levels. Dr. Edmunds has excellent skills - both from the medical knowledge and procedures. He listens to the concerns and questions I have and takes the time to address those concerns and questions. He is the doc to go to for urological issues!!

Dr. Edmund's medical team was very professional, courteous and informative. The administrative staff, however, was unprofessional and not very accommodating. It had been one year since my previous appointment and my insurance had changed. Discussing the changes with the desk clerk I offered my card, but she said it wasn't necessary. It wasn't until after my appointment that I was informed my new insurance is not in network and I would be responsible for the $300 visit within 10 days. I paid the bill, and my insurance company agreed to cover the one visit under a continuation on care clause, but Capitol Urology refused submit the claim sticking me with the expense. Dr. Edmund's office told me it was a "waste of their time". I was surprised of this behavior by the admin staff considering the customer driven service by the medical team. I later learned that it is standard procedure for medical offices to verify insurance prior to each visit which the Edmund's staff failed to do. To this… day I do not understand why they wouldn't submit the claim to remedy the error so that I could recover the cost.

Very quick and painless. Dr Edmunds is great. He and his staff are all professionals and I would recommend them to anyone.

This doctor is up to date on all current methods to treat any and all symptoms to including using the Devincie Laser. All local urologist are not trained to use a laser to help you. I can not say enough positive things about Dr. Edmonds.

When to see Dr Edmonds for a vasectomy and he is an awesome physician the process went well was done in about 10 minutes with no pain at all I was very comfortable with the procedure have a recommend him to anyone who is considering having this done thanks a lot to Dr Evans and his staff
