Dr. Thomas Tak Eng, MD

After a traumatic head injury I was referred to this Dr. He was playing with his Ring doorbell app on his cell in lieu of taking a history and exam. Called my primary xr and said I need the referral redirected. What an impolite jerk!!!

I cannot even describe this incompetent doctor, there are no words for my disdain!

I first met Dr. Eng after having congestive heart failure with TIAs. He examined me and gave me medication for migraine headaches. Within a couple of weeks, I started passing out without warning. Over the course of 8 weeks this happened to me four times. I was taken to the hospital and he said I had pseudo dementia. Then he told me I was dehydrated and having seizures. He put me on anti-virus medication. Now I am experiencing something very frightening. I have episodes of not knowing where I am, who is with me and saying things that do not make sense including hallucinations. Again he told me these episodes were seizures. Initially they lasted for only a few moments, however they now last for as long as 3 to 4 hours. My sister recorded one and we took it to Dr. Eng. He refused to look at it. Needless to say I am frightened and trying to find a real doctor who will find the cause and help me.

I have been on treatment for Multiple Sclerosis for 14 years,. In 2014 I had a significant relapse. Dr Eng and his staff did everything to help me. My MRI's and Steroid infusion therapy was in process before I even made it home from my appointment. I am so grateful for Dr Eng and his staff.

This doctor is pretty detailed in what he knows. In all honest he admitted that if he says he doesn't know he doesn't know. Great! I appreciate his honesty, but with my type of neurological disease he really DIDN'T know. SO WHY USE MYSELF AS A LAB RAT with all disease modifying drugs he prescribes for my disease he doesn't really know how to treat! I understand that all doctors know EVERYTHING I feel the word fits here MALPRACTICE! You have to do your own research on your own ailment and educate him on what I hear are the causes of my disease and what other treatments are out there that are not a slave to Big Pharm. Really he should be paying me for my time! And BTW he has always been and hour behind on my appointments, they of course overbook for the doctor's convenience but to wait for him is a big inconvenience for me. I fired him.

Stay clear of this doctor. Mis diagnoses more than he helps.

Felt like we were in a factory. Get em in, get em out. Dr Eng was horrible! Tried to ask him questions and before I could even start a sentence, he'd say "I can't answer that." did not listen to anything I had to say, ignored me when I spoke. Tried to ask his opinion about something neurological and got, "I don't know anything about that. I'm just here to do the test your doctor asked me to do.". He didnt want to provide any help at all. When we were done he simply said, "that's it" and left the room. STEER CLEAR of this guy-completely compassion less!

Dr Eng did not listen to anything I said, did not write down the symptoms I described to him in his notes, wrote down things I did not say in his notes, glossed over vital information in several of my test results. As a result of his tunnel vision, he advised me I was under stress and to take Prozac. He then told me there was nothing further he could do for me! I knew I was not under stress and anti-depressants weren't the solution to my issues, so I pursued my symptoms with another doctor who discovered that I have MS! Talk about Dr. Eng being off the mark! Prozac? Seriously? He wrote in my file that I said I was stressed - I emphasized the opposite! Run for the hills!

He used a hand held taser ( no connection to his laptop/monitor (whice didnot show any movment), after three shocks to my right arm he gave me whiplash, at that point he told me we have along way to go!Thats I said know I'm done!This was all done AFTER HE READ MY CERVICAL "FLEX" M.R.I.
