Dr. Thomas Alan Feldman, MD

On my first visit I found Dr. Feldman very intelligent, knowledgeable, understanding, very easy to talk to and with a good sense of humor. Look no further, he is among the very best!

I was diagnosed with Crohn's in my mid-20s and although I have moved in and out of Connecticut multiple times, I have always kept Dr. Feldman as my GI doctor. He is the best! Caring and understanding, takes time to listen to his patients and when I have questions, he takes the time to answer them. Lastly, he has a wonderful sense of humor, which I truly appreciate.

I have seen Dr Feldman a couple of times for GI issues. He listens and is never dismissive of your symptoms. He has worked hard to find the cause of my issues , and is always very kind and compassionate. The office staff is as well, which is always a reflection of the Drs.

Don't go to Dr. Feldman with anything remotely complicated as he is not interested. If he can justify a procedure that's it and done. I developed a gluten allergy and have since been confirmed as having Celiac's disease. At the time I saw him, I had not been eating wheat and gluten for over 2 years. EVERYONE who has read anything knows an endoscopy exam of the small intestine will be negative on a Celiac who has not been exposed to wheat for that long. But he did the procedure any way and sure enough- negative. His office called and pronounced that I did not have Celiac and can eat wheat! No follow up from him to explore my reaction to wheat or what was going on with my digestive system. He's a nice guy but a will not help you with your digestive tract. And if there is one very important system to overall health, it's your digestive tract.

I wish Dr. Feldman would have spent more time explaining and discussing what I would expect to occur during my upper & lower GI, since this would be my first time having one. He should really spend more time with his patients....I only had one appt. with him and I left feeling disatisfied...like something was missing. He knows what he's talking about...just needs to spend more time doing it!

i cant begin to say how much this man is a wonderful Dr.He truly cares about each patient..Wish all drs were like him...
