Dr. Thomas Fiel, DO

The thing I love about having Dr. Fiel as my physician is that he always "cares". He always "listens". And he is very, very supportive. Never once have I felt uncomfortable in his office. I would highly recommend Dr. Fiel (if he is accepting new patients) to someone interested. He definitely has a giving and caring personality for such an important job title as "doctor".

Great doctor great staff

This doctor not only never followed up after my test, I had to call proactively dozen of times just to find out the pain I am in isn't anything and my blood pressure is just fine. Back office was clueless with awful communication skills!! Going to a real doctor that shows concern and empathy and want to find a solution to my medical concerns.

I have been in the medical field for over 15 years and have never seen such an attentive, kind and observant doctor. He actually took the time to listen to my history and came up with several solutions instead of pawning me off to an MA and sending me on my way with a RX. He made me feel like he actually cared about my well being. This is by far the most awesome experience I have ever had with a doctor. His staff was very friendly and helpful and it was easy to make an appointment, all the forms are available online and they do reminder calls. I wish I could give him 10 stars because he is really that GREAT.

I saw Claire Anthony and was quite impressedwith her listening, even told several friends that I was finally satisfied with my new doctor. They also were helpful in offering ancilary services of blood draws and ultra sound in the office. I had asked the office staff if their practice could work with my menopause issues as it mentioned women's issues on the website and they said yes. Since then I have called more than 5 times to get the results, and to get a prescription refilled. The med asst has never called me back, nor has Claire or any of the rest of the staff. They just referred my file out to other practicioners who called me. I never signed anything to release my records to them! I have been polite but but waiting a month for a prescription refill is unacceptable. I'll call them one more call tomorrow but this is not good care.

extremely rude and unprofessional receptionist! I have seen Dr. Fiel in the past and do believe he is an excellent doctor, however I will not deal with a rude staff. I'll go elsewhere.

After my visit, the office staff told me to wait for a call for my MRI from Dessert Valley Radiology. Then they forgot to send the MRI request to them. I waited a week and a half before calling Desert Valley and got an appointment that day (Friday). The MRI report got back to Dr. Fiel's office by Monday morning. I wanted to know the results so I called a few times each day. It took 2 full days before I finally got a response which ended up being a message passed through the receptionist. She couldn't answer my questions about healing time, do I stay off it, should I be icing it, when do I start rehab, etc. I am not sure if it is the doctor or the staff. I thought Dr. Fiel was great during my appointment with him. Either I was wrong with my impression or it could just be the staff's incapabilities that made my experience unpleasant.

This office is a complete waste of time. The PA and staff could not be any ruder. Don't waste your time cause if you are really in a pinch they will not help.

Simply put when I needed help in the worst way this office left me sitting in a parking lot at a CVS in another state for 6 hours only to have me call ...

Dr. Thomas Fiel has been my doctor for over ten years. I have a very complicated health history and a lot of orthopedic challenges. If you are looking for a doctor who will advocate for you, you have found the right doctor. Dr. Fiel has helped me cope with pain by encouraging a healthy anti-inflammatory diet and exercise.My history is so complicated, most doctors fail to address the entire scope of my issues. When the orthopedic surgeons refused to address some major problems, Dr.Fiel took everything into consideration and encouraged me to undergo surgery. He has saved my life by his keen eye and because he knows his patients. I am more thankful for him than any medical professional I have ever known. I have referred a lot of friends to him and they are always impressed. If you are upset because you have to wait, it really is not his fault.The patients are given the time they require because he is thorough. Stop and ask the office staff how they are and you will find a great group… of caring professionals.
