Dr. Thomas Michael Fynan, MD

I had 2 cancers, in my stomach and in the bladder. I got multiple surgeries, chemotherapy and immunotherapy. The last bladder ambulatory surgery complicated by UTI (Klebsiella) , which is resistant to any antibiotic. Everyone recommended me to go to ER only and immediately. But Dr. Fynan understood, how fragile I am after chemotherapy and multiple surgeries and he also took into account that I have implanted MediPort . And he made everything he could to provide infusion of antibiotics in the cancer center or infusion center.

My husband was a patient some time ago and liked Dr Fynan until he saw how I was treated and dismissed by him. As wife and caregiver I had some questions. Dr Fynan appeared to interpret my questions as challenging his recommendations. Did not care for his lack of control over his apparent dislike of me/queries

He js a wonderfull doctor who cares and treats his patients with concern and caring. And discusses the treatments with honesty and caring thats helpful to the patient. i will miss him a lot for he is retiring .

As I get older I need many different doctors. Anyone who knows me,knows that I search till I get the best. This is Dr. Fynan. I met him in the hospital after falling ill with a platelet problem. I was scared because the illness came with a "we don't know what causes it and once you get it ,you get it for life". I had never had a diagnosis like that before. Dr. Fynan answers every one of my questions and concerns. At my visits he never doesn't have enough time for my questions or concerns. He is an excellent oncologist and patiently,often, answers my same questions over again.If you are needing an oncologist, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Fynan.

I have been seeing Dr. Fynan for a few years. I have found him to have exemplary bedside manner and I feel that he truly cares about his patients. I know that I am lucky to have him as my specialist and I would, and do, reccommend him. He is among the finest!

Excellent doctor, top notch! Intelligent, kind, caring very easy to talk to. Always puts patient first and foremost has called me back with important test results after business hours and also within hours after having a test done. Dr. Fynan has been a positive influence through a very difficult journey!

I am so happy Dr. Fynan is my oncologist. I switched from another oncologist because he was more attentive. When I call the office, I am able to talk to his assistant and he quickly responds to my messages. My favorite thing about him is his temperament. As bad as things have been, he never panics. He simply offers another solution. Together we have discovered a treatment that works for me.
