Dr Gardner was faced with an unusually large prostrate resting on the rectum and blocking the bladder from functioning properly. Cancer removal was the goal of the surgery. The biopsy showed Cat. 9 cancer in 3 quadrants. Thank you Dr Gardner Goal accomplished, very difficult surgery!! Extremely Grateful, you have a God given skill!

I went out of network because I was hoping to find a doctor to listen to my concerns and to help with issues I have going on. I only have one kidney and have a lot of pain and a rare condition that will need treatment to prevent loss of function in my remaining kidney. After waiting almost an hour to see Dr. Gardner, he spent about 10 minutes with me, and then he only suggested that we repeat scans in 3 months and told me since my other kidney was fine and I wasn't in any pain that we would just keep an eye on it. Seriously? I only have one kidney with decreased function, and I came because the pain is constant and only getting worse. When I brought this to his attention, he brushed me off and told me that he would call my oncologist to write me a prescription for steroids and I could come back to see him if I felt like I needed to. I will absolutely need to see a urologist, but I will not return to IU.

Excellent experience with Dr. Gardner! Diagnosed with kidney cancer on Thursday, was able to have the corrective surgery on Tuesday and the results and recovery have been amazing. His follow up and patience in appointments is outstanding. His knowledge and connections for other doctors has been outstanding. A 5 Star doctor no doubt!!!
