Been a little bit of time since my surgery--but I want to you know that Dr. Tom (Garofola) is THE BEST! I was scared "out pf my wits" about my colon cancer diagnosis. While I know we are are all different, he was so easy going and compassionate--and he even went to school in Pittsburgh my home town! He puts you at ease He also has a very skilled group of residents, head resident of his team helped me the MOST and made me feel very good and encourgaed me (WALK) in my post op process, I was always glad to see him, you know when someone cares. Dr. Tom was there as well to hold my hand after surgery. He is a a truly gifted surgeon and I was lucky he was and is my doctor. I f you look look him up on google - he graguated 'With Honors " I have had no problems since my surgery. I was very lucky as my cancer was seen soon--should have had diagnostic colosncopy but had no insurane at the time. You will be very happy with him. Dr. Tom will help you-it is scary but they get you through it.

He is very cocky. He could fixes a problem before it turned way worse on me and didn’t now my midline incision has been open for close to 3 months could still fix it but won’t. If going to Cleveland go to main campus where the best surgeons are not the smaller clinics
