Dr. Thomas Nygaard Gensbigler

I recently moved in the Mechanicsburg area, and needed a dental office to routinely go to. After going being treated here I sadly say some of the reviews are not up to par. This place is awesome! I had Doctor Thomas as my dentist this time and he’s very professional and gentle. I had my tooth extracted with zero pain. With having some bad past experiences with other offices in the area, I am happy to say West Shore Family dentistry is the beat in the area, without a doubt

I recently moved into the area. When I lost a large filling from a molar, I called this dentist's office. It was highly recommended that I have my previous x-rays sent to their office. I was also advised to purchase a dental plan to help defray the cost of the dental work, then to call back to set up an appointment. I spent time over the next two days on the computer and phone to fulfill those requests. I called to schedule an appointment and was told my name would be placed on a new patient CALL list. I (and others) would be texted when a cancellation was made and the first person to respond would "receive" the appointment. I asked "Do you mean it may take me 6 months to get in?" I was told,, "Yes, it might." I responded "I could be paying for a dental plan for six months that I will not even be able to use?" She answered, "Yes you may." I was so angry. Why wasn't I told this the first time I called!?! Needless to say, this office will not be receiving my business!
