Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, Dr. Gillon earned his undergraduate degree at The College of the Holy Cross, where he was recognized as a U.S. Rowing Academic All-American, and in 2012 was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame. Dr. Gillon earned his M.D. at Penn State Hershey College of Medicine, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. In addition, he was the recipient of the McGraw-Hill and Appleton & Lange Medical Student Award, and was a three-time award winner of the Dr. C. McCollister and Nancy Evarts Scholarship for “outstanding academic performance, a high level of professionalism, and a promising future in the field of medicine.” During his Orthopaedic Residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital in Connecticut, Dr. Gillon’s interest in hand surgery blossomed under the tutelage of the late Dr. Joseph Slade III, a pioneer in wrist arthroscopy and minimally invasive hand & wrist surgery. Pleasant staff. Kind and knowledgeable physician.Dr Gillon was patient in answering all my questions and even drew me a diagram explaining what he had done. I highly recommend him

I have been going to Dr. Gillon for over 20 years for trigger finger, carpal tunnel and ulnar issues. He has performed at least four surgeries (two carpal tunnel, two or three trigger finger). He has always been personable, professional and helpful. I always get positive results, and I highly recommend him without hesitation. Office staff and office are very nice.

This was my second visit. Got injections for Dupuytren's contracture. Yeah, it hurt a bit but Dr. Gillon made it easy. Staff was great. Time in waiting room was short. Time in exam room waiting for doctor was a little longer than expected but understandable seeing they were pretty busy. Recommended? Yes!

Extremely friendly office from the front desk, nurse practitioner & doctor. Wait time was minimal & online check in easy. Very pleased with the results of my operation. Would recommend this office highly.

My appt with Dr Gillon was great. His bed side manner was very pleasant. He explained my diagnosis and asked lots of questions leading up to it. What I liked most is eagerness to pronounce my name correctly. Thanks Dr G

First appointment. Had to reschedule which was very easy. Wait time to see doctor was a little longer than expected, just over 30 minutes. The office was busy so, acceptable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Didn't need it but they were ready to help with form-filling on the iPad. Dr. Gillon was professional AND friendly. Spoke English, not tech-ese. Fully explained the options for my treatment from least to most invasive including least to best expected results. I think he agreed with my choice of least invasive. Overall, a very good experience. They have to order the drug for injections so am waiting for call to set up next appointment.
