My Issues: EX MILITARY COMBAT/ PTSD /AADHD/ Traumatic Brain Injury(TBI) /Need a Forensic Psychiatry Expert My Severe/Acute PTSD was misdiagnosed as Bi-Polar Disorder Type 1 for several years. The atypical anti-psychotic RX's prescribed by my former Psychiatrists never dealt with the underlying cause of my behavior and cognition directly attributable to Severe/Acute PTSD. I had many horrible incidents with the dozen or so different Bi-Polar RX's prescribed for me over the years. Struggling for decades with unremediated PTSD and AADHD left me with a chaotic and unfulfilling life of frustration, guilt and anguish. After less than six months of monthly 1-hour sessions with Dr. Thomas Gonda, Jr. M.D., the good doctor offered a new direction to proceed to address my life long frustrations. With the right medication and cognitive therapy (two-way talking) Dr. Gonda, M.D. has given me a life I never knew I could have. A manageable and rewarding life of finally being able to finish tasks… that I start. The ability to focus and concentrate without constant intrusive thoughts and distractive actions. I wish my mother could have lived to see the life I now live. Although the horrific experiences and memories giving rise to my PTSD will never be erased, I am able to consciously process these unnaturally violent events with the understanding that many of these events were not in anyway my fault. Yet, I had irrationally carried around the guilt that some how I was the cause of my own misery. Dr. Thomas Gonda, Jr. M.D. is a credit to his profession, compassionate, empathetic and highly competent. And, he will have my life long gratitude and thanks for dramatically improving the quality of my life. Highest Recommendation. 5/5 ?????

This doctor charge me $350 when I do have providers in my network and he said most Pychiatrist are not in network. He prescribed me a drug that made me worse and I ended up in the hospital for 3 days. DO NTO SEE THIS PROVIDER!!!

I have tried countless amounts of specialists in the field of Psychiatry that would be interested in helping me as an individual and not based on insurance limitations. I found that Dr. Thomas Gonda Jr. MD has been the doctor I have been looking for! He is very easy to talk to. I didn't find it hard to begin a trusting relationship with him as he makes you feel very comfortable right away and gives you all the time you need to explain your situation no matter how hard it is sometime to express how you feel. I recommend Dr. Gonda if you're looking for a professional that has years of experience and an incredible ability to help you realize what your root problem(s) is/are, and an excellent amount of advice and encouragement to help you on your way to a better life.
