Dr. Thomas Grant, MD

I was referred to Dr. Grant due to a MRI indicating a possible tumor in my parotid gland. He did a physical examination and stated that there was no tumor and ordered a CT scan. The scan proved Dr. Grant to be correct in his diagnosis.

Saw Dr. Grant with severe inflammation in both inner and outer ears. One ear was so sever that he couldn’t insert proper instrumentation to observe ear drum, he later ordered and pressure test in the same ear which was unsuccessful due to inflammation. He had the nerve to be upset that the test couldn’t be completed and then tossed my records on the counter and said “I have no idea what’s wrong with you!” Prescribed me 3 Prednisone and sent me on my way. Had to call the next day and beg for two more pills so the pain/inflammation would reside over the weekend. Fast forward a year and a hand full of ear infections along with the pressure in both ears never completely subsiding. Asked by FD to refer me to an ENT who she likes, because I value her professional opinion. She referred me to an ENT in the same office as Dr. Grant, obviously the office didn’t appreciate this and when I went to my scheduled appointment with then referred physician...in walks Dr. Grant! He had no interest in… wanting to help or remedy the constant pressure / fluid in my ears. My records contained “problems” that I never complained about nor mentioned to him...not only that...they’re false! This guy lets his arrogance get in the way of truly helping his patients. He ended the visit with manipulating me into thinking my problems are the cause of TMJ. Not true! If you want help stay away from this guy!!!!

Dr. Grant explained my condition thoroughly, shared treatment options, asked my input on which path of treatment I would prefer, and executed treatment (thyroidectomy) precisely. I felt in control of my healthcare through the entire process, while being equipped with the knowledge necessary to make decisions. His office staff is efficient and personable. I would & do recommend him to anyone needing an ENT.
