Appointments were quick. Professional and courtesy. Not someone to go to for therapy. Did do a good job of managing my meds

I was put on very strong meds for a few years until I was suddenly stopped off my medications without any proper at all. My general practitioner doctor ended up having to give me medications until I found a new phycologist that would get me back on track. Dr. Thomas Gratzer refused to even continue my meds till I got my new doctor or at least he could of given me a proper taper & safe taper. No other Dr, Nurse, Pharmacist, Therapy, Counselor & Hospitals... I was told NEVER EVER quit taking or taper to quickly because I could've died & I did get very sick and had seizures, withdrawals, shaking & alot of time in the bathroom. I'm trying to get my life back on track.

Appointment as an independent psych evaluation. Shows up 10 minutes late because he needed coffee. Appointment now 40 minutes. Watched clock entire time. Gave me statement questions. Provided a half crap report missing info. Totally biased. What a pathetic paid off fake doctor.

Excellent experience. Enjoyed renovations to new clinic and friendly staff. A very good doctor.

At my first appointment, I was told by reception to come 30 mins early to fill out some paperwork (as per usual). I finished in time for my appointment but it then took another 30 mins for Dr. Gratzer to come get me. There were 15 other patients sitting in the lobby waiting so I imagine this is not unusual for PsychRecovery or Dr. Gratzer in particular. I am quickly rushed to his office and he immediately asks if he can get a cup of coffee after he was already half an hour late. Calling him out on his lateness, he blamed it on a number of things including traffic and having to go to the courthouse. He also blamed reception for making me come so early to fill out paperwork even though it was because of them that I was on time. He asked me some rather unusual questions and would cut me off before I could complete my sentences. That, coupled with how fast he speaks made me feel incredibly uncomfortable and unheard as a patient. Within the first 5 minutes of meeting him he wanted to change… all of my medications which I was not comfortable with and told him as such. He continued to try to push new meds on me. I felt so uncomfortable with everything that had happened that I walked out of the appointment within 15 minutes. Dr. Gratzer was late, abruptly concise, rude to his own staff, and could not take any blame for himself.
