Dr. Thomas Peter Greco, MD

I was a patient of Dr Greco’s fier my back. Had disc surgery. Within a week after surgery I wound up with a severe bowel blockage and almost died. After 3 weeks in icu I got home and then 2days later it was back to the hospital. I had a stroke in my sleep. When I went back to him he had no idea what had happened. When he saw me I was 90 pounds lighter than when he last saw me. He asked what happened and after I told him he just took the ball and ran with it. That was almost 25 years ago when I was only 40 years old. If it wasn’t for Dr Greco I probly wouldn’t still be alive today. Because of the kind of man and docter he is I am still on this earth,

My doctor sent my revods over 2 1/3 weeks ago haven't heard a word from them. ?? I am in pain.

Dr. Greco is all the things you need from a doctor. He is brilliant in his field, stays current with research, etc. but, most importantly, he truly cares about his patients and is kind and intuitive to their thoughts and needs.

Dr Greco is by far the most knowledgeable, kind, caring and persistent Dr ever. I was planning to travel from NC again to see him again but apparently he has retired. Although, I am sad to learn Dr Greco is no longer in practice, I wish him well in his retirement. I will never ever forget the peace of mind he gave me when I happened to be in Waterbury working only to wake one morning blind in one eye. 25 years later, I haven’t found a Dr to meet Dr Greco’s experience and expertise.

Dr. Greco treated both my parents and later myself. When my parents passed away he called personally to give his condolences. He would contact me with test results that other specialists ordered but never bothered to tell me. He would call after hours because he was reviewing blood work and testing after hours. He is a kind, compassionate brilliant doctor. He treated the whole person ordering testing and follow up with specialists that he felt was needed. His research contributed to numerous young woman to have children because he diagnosed them and treated them. He was able to prevent their miscarriages. His patients sincerely miss his kindness and brilliance.

this dr shouldn't be allowed to practice. He has a terrible bedside manner, thinks he is GOD. far from it. He puts patients through expensive procedures that don't even help them. You wait a minimum of an hour to be seen.

A caring , compassionate Doctor I've been a patient for 16 + years. His thorough research and follow up has led to answers to many of my complex medical problems. Worked well with my primary and other doctors. A credit to his profession and will be greatly missed by all of his patients. I wish him well on his retirement

I just love him, he always put a smile on my face and sometimes makes me laugh. I would recomend him to my friends.

Dr. Greco diagnosed me with APLS and Factor 5 Leiden Syndrome. Both blood clotting diseases. I spent years telling Doctors that I had these and because of this, they treated me as though I did. Many doctors however questioned whether or not I truly had these syndromes. Recently I moved across the state and saw another hematologist and he said that no, I did not have APLS or Factor 5 Leiden, that my blood clotting levels were COMPLETELY normal, and he was unsure where Dr. Greco saw that I had these syndromes, he even reviewed charts and bloodwork from Dr. Greco's office.

I've been seeing doctor Greco since 2005, He accuratley diagnosed my condition and continues to monitor it. I have good days and bad days but, he tries to help me get through it. He just wants me to be happy and I like that. Having multiple autio-immune problems is not easy, and he makes me feel better about it.
