Dr. Thomas Wister Grookett, MD

I was supposed to see Dr. Grookett today for the first time. My appointment was at 11:30 and I was asked to be there by 11 a.m. to fill out paperwork. I was there actually before 11 a.m. As 11:30 came and went, a man who came into the office after me went back into the examination rooms before me. At 11:45 I asked if they were running behind and was told about 15 minutes.. I glanced at the sign-in sheet and saw that the man who went in before me had an appointment at 10:45. He arrived after 11 o'clock. When I questioned this I was told that his appointment was before mine. He arrived 20 minutes late for his appointment, and was taken before me when I was on time. I could not stay late and took off from work specifically FOR this appointment. His lateness is not my issue. He should have been told that he either had to wait or he would have to reschedule HIS appointment. Not sure I will be going back for my rescheduled appointment in July.
