Dr. Thomas Michael Guest, MD

We arrived on time for our afternoon imaging appointment with an appointment with Dr Guest 30 minutes after. The imaging department was running 60 minutes late which made us late for the appointment with Dr Guest. When we went to see Dr Guest we were informed Dr Guest will not us because we were late for the appointment to see him. So a 1 hour delay for imaging and denied service by Dr Guest. A horrible way to treat an elderly patient. We wanted to leave this review on the Emory website but were told since we never saw Dr Guest, we can not leave a review for him.

Dr Guest was wonderful. He was caring and informative and he ordered appropriate tests and reported results in a very timely manner.

Dr. Guest saved my life. Working with one of his partners, I think his name was Dr. Wong, I had stents, and then by-pass surgery. He found a wonderful surgeon for me. His follow up over the past 10 years was uncommonly through. He also worked with me on a nutrition plan to help my vascular disease. Ten years later and I am still convinced I would not be here were it not for Dr. Guest. I recommend him every chance I get.

Dr. Guest is a rare physician. He listens to his patients concerns and takes any needed action. I am so blessed and happy that he is my cardiologist. I cannot recommend enough. He spends time with me, talks to me and gives me options that I truly can follow.

I have recommended Dr. Guest to friends and family and will continue to do so. He's my cardiologist, plain and simple. He's been my cardiologist for close to 10 years. He never fails to answer a question (and I have a lot of them) and is never in a hurry to move on. He patiently explains diagnoses and procedures and will actually call you himself with test results or to answer more questions. Dr. Guest is a great doctor and a great guy!

Saw Dr. Guest last week for the first time. Seemed very caring, thorough and unrushed. Spent about 45 minutes reviewing things with me and my wife. Stress test and heart ultrasound were done earlier this week. He called with results the same day! Thankfully everything is ok. Highly recommend Dr. Guest.

Dr. Guest is a credit to his profession and someone I have, and would, trust implicitIy. I was referred to Dr. Guest by a neighbor after having had heart issues & procedures done elsewhere and still not feeling right - and am glad I did. Don't take his initial serious demeanor or straight forwardness wrongly - as he truly cares about his patients and his profession and is not one to molly coddle you. He is extremely knowledgeable, thoughtful, caring, listens to your concerns and more than most doctors - takes his time with you. Dr. Guest also believes in looking at the bigger picture and your health overall. He does not sugar coat anything, but takes the time to make sure you understand what you are dealing with and gives you options to consider. I can honestly say that after my first visit with him, there was a sense that he knew exactly what was wrong & what had been missed previously, but was professional enough not to make any conclusions till he was able to further examine me… himself - and he was right. Dr. Guest also ensures that you are comfortable with the approach and is confident enough to be willing to share his diagnoses and reasoning with others if requested - he goes the extra mile to make sure you are onboard. He is part of a great team, his nurse, PA and staff in the clinic also exhibit the same traits, are responsive when you call in - and make you feel at home remembering you by name. Highly recommend him and would not go elsewhere - he truly cares about you and made a difference in my life.

Terrible! Very unsympathetic doctor, was awake during the entire procedure and was very painful. Requested some additional sedation and was refused by doctor. Would never recommend this doctor to family or friends. Dr. Thomas Guest did not speak to me before or after the procedure, never reassured or tried to comfort during this procedure. Was all business like working on a robot.

Having worked in the medical community for some years now I can easily spot the physicians that are physicians because they want to help patients!My visit was excellent in all aspects and I applaud Dr. Guest!
