Thomas Guilfoyle, DDS is fraud. During the course of four visits he has systematically tried to convince me that the reason the crown is getting loose is because the internal threading of the implant may be stripped in an attempted to sell me new implant and the crown. As per the manufacturers recommendations when loosening occurs in the short period of time they recommend as the simplest thing to do is to replace the screw and tighten it to the specifications using the tool. I have asked him to follow manufacturerâ??s recommendations during the first visit â?? he refused and kept on doing the same thing over again during remaining three visits. Due to the constant loosening the crown eventually broke. I went to another dentist who tested the implant using the tools and came to the conclusion that the implant was perfectly fine. He had remade the crown, replaced the screw and tightened it to the manufacturers specifications using recommended tool. There were no loosening of the… crown ever since. The only recommendation that I can make for Thomas Guilfoyle, DDS is: stay away from him as far as possible.
