Dr. Thomas X Hahm, MD

I had been in the planning stage on having plastic surgery for the past 20 years and finally decided 2020 was the year to do it. I did quite a bit of research and decided on Dr. Hahm to perform the surgery. I definitely chose correctly. K.D. at Dr. Hahm's office always made me feel welcome (they put the right person by the door to greet clients). In addition, any issues that I had, whether they be financial or regarding the surgery, were handled quickly by K.D.; I was never left hanging for a response. The other employee in the office, Sophia, was always respectful and tried to stay out of the way during visits to ensure she gave privacy but also took solid notes. Now on to Dr. Hahm. From the initial consultation to the end of my appointments, Dr. Hahm made me feel like he had all the time I needed to answer any questions and discuss my concerns. My surgery went perfectly and I cannot say enough about how well everything turned out. You can tell he takes pride in the work… he performs; he's transforming lives and attaching his name to those transformations obviously ensures they are done well. As I've aged, I've always felt younger on the inside. Thanks to Dr. Hahm, now my outside matches my inside. Thank you! Sincerely, Sandra Duke

I ignored his cold personality but he was not the most compassionate Dr I ever dealt with. I am now having breast restoration the first of the year to fix his poor work. he was not a pleasant experience for me.

My wife was left unfinished. As an older patient, we were stunned by the condition that she was left to deal with. He said he could not help her. Does he prefer higher paying elective surgery? We will never know, but my wife could never trust him again.

Would not recommend. Does not explain things well and does not speak much at all. When it came time for my breast reconstruction he told me I had to have implants and they would need to be bigger. I had told him I wanted to be smaller before my mastectomy. He also encouraged me to get a DIEP but a few months later said I didn't have enough fat. He also didn't order an MRA before placing my tissue expanders. This is an important aid for reconstruction. I decided I would not let this man touch me again.There are better PS's in Charleston for breast reconstruction.

Completing the first phase after surgery; Dr Hahm has been so attentive, encouraging and confident in my healing. He is genuine in nature and meticulous in his care. I am so ready to get past this nasty beast called cancer that I had and am so grateful I am in the care of Dr Hahm so that I can run! dance! and be a strong beautiful woman again! Thank you Dr Hahm and the beautiful staff ��

Simply put.... HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely has no concern for your being- Money is ALL that matters , even if the job done is failed not once, but twice- will not have the third time to misgage, oh- and try drawing Blood out of a softball size hematoma for a week before I demand he open it up and clean out- I WOULD NOT LET HIM CLIP MY Toenails!!!!!!!!!

Just starting my DIEP breast reconstruction with Dr. Hahm. So far he and his staff have been very courteous and patient with all my questions.

I love Dr. Hahm! He was so amazing throughout the entire process. When I showed him photos of the look I was after he knew exactly what to do and my results really reflect that. I was nervous about the size he chose but his confidence really helped ease my worry. He is a fast worker and is clearly very skilled in BAs. I'd recommend him to anyone! I've never been so happy.

He did an amazing job. I did my research and all I can say is thank you for giving me back my confidence.
