Dr. Thomas Oma Hester, MD

I have seen Dr Hester 4 times. On all visits the staff is friendly and efficient. Dr Hester listens, examines, and offers a diagnosis pleasantly and in layman's terms. I will go back to him when and if I need his services.

I had to see Dr Hester as my regular Dr was not available. His bedside manner was not good. He didn't explain what he was doing to my ear (and it was painful). He didn't explain why my ear is still feeling blocked and might be for a month (I still don't understand why). He wasn't a friendly Dr. Give me back Dr Ghegan. He was outstanding!!!

Dr. Hester Told us he would review my daughter's cat scan and discuss the surgery implications, instead his surgery coordinator called and told us he looked at the CAT scan and confirmed my daughter needed surgery and when did we want to schedule it. Very insensitive, and he must assume that we had no interest in discussing the surgery options. Turns out thanks to our own research, there are different schools of thought about what surgical approach is best as well as different tools being used, and he didn't bother to discuss any of those important points with us or even speak to us in person. Maybe some people just blindly trust a doctor to cut open their 13 yr old duaghter's face and ear and don't care or have any questions for or about the doctor doing it, but I can't imagine who would feel that way.
